Software update to Lolipop

Hi guys, after 3 years of using my x8 h plus, i will try to put Lolipop on it.

What do you suggest,i'm not comfortable in doing that kind of things,what method is the easiest?Burncardmaker,usb flashing tool or?

Is there any tutorial,step by step,how to do it? I'vw never flashed rom before on any advice.

problem in swiching language

I have the NEO 3 with English and Hebrew letters. the problem is that when I try to change the keyboard to Hebrew it's not changing I can only write in Hebrew with the virtual keyboard
this is what I did
settings>keydoard>current keyboard>Android (AOSP)>configure>languages>turn off "use system language">select Hebrew on the input method list
but now I noticed that the "use system language" keep turning back on
I tried to change the system language to Hebrew and I still wasn't able to...

there was no new XMBC for MINIX release for a long time (e.g. version based on Kodi v17.6).
Now, as Kodi v18 is in development status, I would like to know what's the plan of future XBMC for MINIX releases?

Does it still make sense to develop it at all or newer (original) Kodi is optimized for MINIX devices, so no need for XBMC for MINIX fork?

I have a Nvidia Shield Tv pro and a Alphawise H96+. From day one the H96 has worked impeccably and no complaints there whatsoever. The Nvidia Shield has been a nightmare . First there was a fault with the AC adapter pins. Then there was a problem with the remote and the controller. Then there was a software problem , all apps including system apps would crash. Then another problem was that no airmouse would work with it and I collected 10 or 12 air mice hoping at least one would work...

To buy or not?

I've no idea why but player will not work. Tried Wifi and Lan cable and both same.
I am on U1 FW13 20170629.
I've uninstalled the app, changed resolution the lot. No other apps are playing up.
Apart from hr XBMC Iplayer app can someone shed some light on this problem please?

It was all working fine about six weeks ago. No FW updates have been done recently, nothing has changed.

I need to reinstall Neo U9H factory version of Netflix as it is of better video quality than other APK'S I have tried....can anyone please help ? Currently using 6.3.0 and it is only giving me 720 x 480 @ 1750kb/s.....Factory was 1280 x 720 @ 23500kb/s....help much appreciated .

Z83-4. Broken SD-Card I/F after Windows 1803 update.

Hello,

I have a standard MINIX Z83-4 PC which worked fine under Win 10 1709, including a much needed SD-Card.

It has recently updated itself to Windows 10 1803 through a push update from Microsoft.

The SD-Card has now stopped working. Troubleshooter can't fix it. I have tried several cards to no avail.

When are MINIX going to fix this? I have emailed support.

I have acted in good faith in keeping the machine up to date with no unusual interventions.

My Machine Macbook Pro 13-inch 2017 with Touch Bar

I have Rj-45, HDMI and Apples own USB-C 61W charger plugged in to my Neo C.
First time I plug my Neo C to my Macbook, everything works. Then if I remove usb-c cable from my MacBook and reconnect it, nothing works. But if I disconnect Apples USB-C charger from Neo C and re connect it, everything works again.

Should it work like that? Every time I connect my MacBook to Neo-C, i have to reconnect charger cable?

I have created this ROM solely for smooth video playback in SPMC so please do not go asking for Live Wallpaper, AirPin etc...., it is stripped to the bare minimum for better performance. I have not tried it with Kodi as I prefer SMPC because it utilises the amcodec.

You will need to run the SuperSU app and reboot after install to access the SuperSU settings, it is pre-rooted but the app doesn't seem to realise it.

- Removed some Minix code from the boot.img that was causing video...

Hi All,

Kodi does not detect the sound format when I play movies with MPEG sound format (mp4a or mp3).

My U9-H is connected to my Denon AVR via HDMI.

With this sound format, Kodi show "unknown" as sound format.
The file is an .avi file.

Any idea ?

16 gigs of ram. when i put my first Pentium pc ( pentium 90)together i though i was robbing the Man when after i stood in line, in the cold to buy ram for 10 dollars a megabyte
240 gigs of shinny new ssd, back in the day gigabyte drives were inconceivable (insert star trek little bald dude lisp)

the hardest part was waiting for the win 10 update to install, SHEE I IT!!!
