Hello,
I bought U1 few days ago, installed LibreELEC on SD card. Everything looks fine, HD audio passthrough working, smooth playback...
I am using Logitech Harmony 650 infra red controller. Original remote for U1 has very few buttons only, it's basically just arrows/OK/back. Is there any way to learn Harmony additional buttons, like "pause" or "subtitle delay +" and so on ?
I know about CEC, but my U1 is connected to Onkyo TX NR-609 receiver, not to TV directly.

Hi all,

I've recently acquired a second hand Z64A which I want to upgrade to a Z64W. I've already done this before so I didn't expect any hiccups. However, I'm experiencing some difficulties with this unit, namely:

Just received my MiniX U1 player this morning and really like it so far. My external HDD is working perfect and it sees the files, but when I use SMB on my network in file manager it only sees folders only no files? I even went into settings and ticked everything that says files, but still doesn't see it?

I hope a proper SMB comes for the native player and Kodi as well?

It is possible to boot from the M.2 SSD slot on MINIX NEO N42C-4.

You need to re-install the Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) OS on the M.2 SSD, and disable the eMMC in the BIOS.

Hello. For some time I have noticed that during playback of a movie or music a random pause is automatically triggered. This problem occurs on the official Kitkat and Lollipop beta. This includes streaming media (such as the YouTube app or the original browser) or from memory (such as MX Player).

Do any of you have this problem too?

Hi there,

I have some issues with my MINIX Z83-4, when I switch it on the screen detects signal but stays dark.
I can see it is on (blue LED) but nothing displays on the screen. since yesterday.
My MINIX is plugged on the TV screen, before it has happened before that after switching the screen to TV input then back on the MINIX HDMI the screen was black. This was solved by simply rebooting.

I have tried to look at similar older posts on this forum but nothing works.

My Minix is has stopped booting up. I am getting the following

First line reads "EFI Shell version 2.31 [4.651] - Current running mode 1.1.2" and below this I get a message "map: cannot find required map" and to press ESC before the time is up to skip startup.nsh.

I have gone into the BIOS and disabled UEFI and it still doesn't work. It was working fine.

Hi, did somebody achieve to hear some music with the TV off ?

I have configured the SDPIF output on my audio amplifier but when if switch my TV off it's automatically stops the Deezer or Spotify playing. The situation is the same when I just pull out the HDMI cable.

I sets the CEC mode to OFF but it does not help.

Hello,

I have installed Libreelec onto SD Card mounted in the Minix U9-H

But when I try to wake the unit from the offical Kodi remote app it doesnt work.
I have entered the MAC adress of the unit into the app but still nothing happens.
Am I missing some setting in Libreelec or in Minix BIOS?

We just purchased a Minix U9-H with A3 remote to replace our Amazon Fire TV. Unfortunately, we've been experiencing the following problems using the Minix which we never experienced with the Amazon Fire TV with the exact same network/cable configuration.

I don't know how you did deinterlacing in Kodi only (it is really great job), but deinterlacing for whole MediaCodec system (so it will work in any player) will be outstanding. hello,
recently I noticed that the sd card is not visible in "my computer". when I take it out and in again, there is the windows sound of the inserting but still it is not visible.
when I looked in hardware manager the sd card controller has the yellow triangle with ! in it, like the driver is bad. tried to update the driver from the drivers list here in the forum but wont let it and saying that the best driver is already installed.
any suggestions?

Hi there:

Just bought a Z83-4 and i'm having a problem with a usb 3.0 device.

I'm using a 'Sandisk Ultra FIT USB 3.0 flash drive' formatted as NTFS as a secondary drive for the system and performance is more than okay (as good as can be expected from a 3.0 flash drive) but the drive keeps disconnecting/reconnecting randomly. Suddenly the drive disappears and instantly windows re-detects it and reappears. Obviously this makes it unusable if i'm writing/reading something to the drive at that...

Ok, I have a brand new z83 that I unboxed. Hooked it up to a monitor using the cable it came with, pressed power and just got a blank screen. Tried another cable, same problem. Tried another monitor, same problem.

So I am not able to see the MINIX Boot screen to even start the Windows setup. I need help or I will have to return this and buy something else.
