NEO U1 cannot see my 5GHz WIFI network (only sees 2.4GHz)

Dear all,

My NEO U1 does not see my 5G WIFI network (problem is not the network, as I have checked that my mobile phone does see it while 10cm. away from the MINIX). It only sees the 2,4GHz network.

Do I need to do any special configuration of the MINIX? I cannot find any help in the Internet, but the specifications of the device say it does support 2.4/5GHz WIFI.
