WIFI wont turn off

I'm trying to use the gigabit Ethernet only, but for some reason, it will not shut off Wi-Fi, it just stays on, no matter what i do.

I was thinking, could it be because I'm using the Samba server, and it wont disconnect while Samba is turned on?
