Fast Forward/Back issue

Hey guys,

I have an issue with fast forward/backward skipping very similar to what is described in the Neo U1 post here:

I understand that the issue was identified and that they are getting a fix. Can we expect this fix as well? I tried the Minix 16.3 in which it's supposedly fixed but it seems as if the fix should be on the firmware level as well.
