X8-H Plus via AV Receiver

Hi,

Is it possible to connect the X8-H Plus to my Pioneer AV Receiver using HDMI cable only instead of connecting directly to the TV?

For example - a connection similar to a DVD player.....

That way I get vision and audio pass-through via the HDMI cable?

If yes, what would be the settings for this Regarding Video/Audio?
