Minix neo x5 mini stuck on recovery screen?

Hoping someone can help, just to start I would like to apologise as I don't have much knowledge of how these work so I hope you can be patient. My x5 is stuck on recovery screen, even after doing a factory reset and reboot it just ends up back on the recovery screen?? On the bottom of the screen it says recovery v4.2.51...is this box facked?it is a good few years old to be fair

Minix Screen Resolution

Hi all,

I have my Minix set at 4k2k-60hz. I wanted to change format and depth from YCbCr420 8bit to YCbCr422 10 but the Minix tells me there is no support for this format and depth. Should I leave this alone? Does this mean I cannot play 10 bit content?

Logitech Harmony and Minix U1

Hello,
I bought U1 few days ago, installed LibreELEC on SD card. Everything looks fine, HD audio passthrough working, smooth playback...
I am using Logitech Harmony 650 infra red controller. Original remote for U1 has very few buttons only, it's basically just arrows/OK/back. Is there any way to learn Harmony additional buttons, like "pause" or "subtitle delay +" and so on ?
I know about CEC, but my U1 is connected to Onkyo TX NR-609 receiver, not to TV directly.

problem in swiching language

I have the NEO 3 with English and Hebrew letters. the problem is that when I try to change the keyboard to Hebrew it's not changing I can only write in Hebrew with the virtual keyboard
this is what I did
settings>keydoard>current keyboard>Android (AOSP)>configure>languages>turn off "use system language">select Hebrew on the input method list
but now I noticed that the "use system language" keep turning back on
I tried to change the system language to Hebrew and I still wasn't able to...

I have purchased the Neo A2 lite, installed it and the mouse is working perfectly - unfortunately I cannot seem to type from the keyboard - it is completely unresponsive. Thoughts, ideas please.

DSTV Now app not working with uncertified media boxes

Hey Team,
At the moment my MINIX NEO U9-H is uncertified in my google playstore. Is there a reason why? When I started off with my box before the upgrade it was a certified box.
One of my main reasons buying the box was because its DSTV Now compatible and didn't had any issues. DSTV made a statement that they are going to block all uncertified media boxes moving forward which are causing big concern. I'm still using the old version of the app to do my streaming, but I'm missing out of all...

Hello,

I have reset many times by pressing power button 6s + wipe cache + wipe datas + reboot system
or by reset option in paramters / storage / reset factory ...

but my version is still MHC19J.20170623...and in google play store my device is uncertified

Netflix does not update...

what's wrong ? somebody help me please ?

Intel documents the following SD card problem for the Atom Z8000 series processor that has the same symptoms as the Neo Z83-4 disappearing SD card problem documented on this forum but a different cause.

Like U1, Libreelec V8 is coming with Amlogic S912 support (y)
It's Kodi 17 based and promise smoothness for everything.

It's a early beta version yet with lot of bugs or missing things but will evolve quickly.

NEO A2 Lite vs A3

I was wondering, the price difference is negligible, so what exactly is the difference except the voice function on the A3 between these two? I know that some people get annoyed by the A3 wake up function, I imagine that being annoying to me also, so if I do not need the A3 voice function, should I just get the A2 Lite instead or there are some other stuff improved in the A3 variation as its a newer device? I imagine battery being better to some extent on the A3, but that comes with the cost...

Hi all,

I hope that someone can help me with is issue that I am having.

I have three NEO X8-H Plus systems home and I was testing lollipop (X8H_PLUS_LOLLIPOP_RC2.rar) on one device. I decided to backup the test system with TWRP and restore this on the other two systems.

On one of the systems, with a similar TV brand (Dual), everything working perfectly but I can't turn off the feature "auto switch to best resolution". Thus everytime I turn the TV off & on, I have to set the resolution...
