The device stop working

Hey you all.
I bought this device a month ago and all of sudden it stopped working for no reason.
I tried everything (plug in /plug out, turn it off for 20 seconds and plug in)
What can I do with that?

[SOLVED] Minix U1 Sound problem (very low sound level)

I made the last update: http://www.minixforum.com/threads/neo-u1-fw009a-20160816.13552/

After this the U1 sound is very low (very quiet). The U1 connect to TV via HDMI cable. I don't allow the passtrough. And I tried PCM and HDMI in Settings -> Audio -> Digital Sounds, with same result (quiet sound).
I don't know what have I do for good sound level!
Please help. Thank you!

wont work with a tv

hi any reason this will not work when connected to a tv. It goes from the minix name to a blue screen and the message no input appears, i tried three different tv and get the same result, connect to a monitor and its fine

Display Port NGC-1

I just purchased NGC-1 and try to get dual display working, one direct to TV the other via AVR. However, the Display Port does not appear to work.

Tried direct connection via Display Port to a normal LCD computer monitor, both via DVI and HDMI input on the LCD monitor did not work. The same config from Surface Pro2 i.e. Display Port to DVI and HDMI input on LCD monitor works.

I checked
  • the display drivers and they are the latest
  • Firmware, there is no settings to change....

I am new here and this is my first contribution to this forum :)
I have successfully managed to dual boot Windows 10 and CM-x86 13.0(based on Android 6 - Marshmallow). I did this after forum user WeK05 recommended to try 6.0 x86 android. No USB needed :)

Things you need to download:
1. MiniTool Partition Wizard
2. cm-x86_64- 13.0-rc1 from android-x86 org
3. usb drive 8gb minimum
4. grub2win from (Google it)
5. any program to write iso on USB(I used PowerIso)



Things you need to do:

Dual boot CM(Cyanogenmod) 13.0 and Windows 10(Audio and Wi-Fi works)

Logitech french wireless K400r

Hi all

I connected my Logitech K400r infrared french (Azerty) keyboard to my Neo U1. It is connected through an USB dongle.

It's recognized out of the box, but the layout is Qwerty (US) instead of Azerty (French). Any hint to make it work as a french keyboard?

nbc sports live extra error

Hi Guys
Just set up the NeoU1 last night
I have a paid subscription for Direct TV and I cant get to connect to the premium channels in NBC Sports Live Extra "The highlighted in blue" sports channels or any of the replays. I'm in the UK I'm using Express VPN and running the latest KODI version "Javis 16.1" and installed the latest NBC repository .eracknaphobia

I know the VPN works as I can connect to the DirectTV web player no problem and also when I do a network speed test it picks up...

Worth Upgrading X7 Yet?

I bought my X7 a while back (probably about 2 years ago now) and it continues to serve me well.
I recently got some money from my tax return and am looking for something to spend it on.
I am considering upgrading my old X7 but I'm not sure if the Neo U1 or X8-H Plus offer any real significant advantage over my old X7.

I use it pretty much exclusively for Kodi (80%) and Youtube (20%).
I'd consider using it for emulators but would only be interested in running Reicast, N64 and/or Gamecube.

Google play purchases and airplay receiver

I have two questions.

What is the best airplay receiving program for minix? I use airpin lite, its great for receiving music from my phone and I can cast videos from my PC. I am currently trying to set up screen mirroring with my PC but it's not working.

My second question is whether anyone else has had problems with purchasing programs in Google play. I was trying to purchase airpin pro but when hit the buy button after selecting a method of payment, it tells me "the payment cannot be...

[SOLVED] - Blank screen after recovery failed

Sorry, I've searched recovery and black screen and can't find and answer to this.

I went to the recovery option in windows 10 and nothing happened when I clicked the button. I then selected the other button on the page below which took me to a screen with a blue background with various options and I selected delete my files and recover or reset (can't exactly remember the options now).

I clicked okay or continue after the warning and the screen with the black background came up with the %...

Windows can not find audio device

I have a problem after the Windows 10 Anniversary update and/or the audio drivers update. Now the Windows can not find audio device. This is manifested in the absence of section Sound, gaming and video devices in the Device Manager. I reinstalled Windows 10 through the BIOS and the ISO flash stick, but the problem remained. It can be fixed?

Hi,

First, accept my apologies as I am sure this has already been answered but I thought it quicker to create a new thread.

I am currently using XBMC 15.3 and have noticed that if I play a movie with a DTS Master or Dolby True HD soundtrack, that the sound and picture are out of sync. I have found the offset sweet-spot to be roughly -0.3 / - 0.4. But while this resolves the issue, it's fairly annoying to have to correct every time I play a movie with one of these 2 soundtracks.

Audio cut outs

Hello,

Was on f/w 2 for a long time and everything was working great. I just did a bunch of OTA updates and am now on f/w 4. I've now got a minor issue with audio cutting out. It cuts out for half a second randomly while streaming video in Kodi. I didn't have this issue prior to updating. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing anything like this? Or if anyone has any ideas of why this is now occurring?

Should say I'm using the x8

I just purchased the Z83-4 and written on the back of the box in the table of features and specs it indicates the following
Video Output: HDMI 1.4, mini DP*, The asterisk fine print down at the bottom then says:
Only supports mini-DP to D-Sub conversion or direct mini-DP to mini-DP/DP connection. Mini-DP to HDMI or mini-DP to DVI is not supported.
When I purchased the Z83 I also ordered the mini DP to DVI adapter....Doesn't work!

The only thing I'm hoping is can both ports... HDMI and...

Dears,
I'm happily using a Neo X8-H plus.
It's reliable and well supported, but I think it's a bit aging.
I mainly use Kodi (h264/h265 mkv), and legal streaming services (Youtube, Netflix, Crunchyroll).

What I'm missing from my Neo X8-h plus is:
  • HD Netflix
  • h264hi10p playback (mainly 720p)
  • hi444PP playback (mainly 720p)
  • h265 10 bit
Other features I have on the Neo X8-H plus and I still need:
  • 24p support (at least from Kodi)
  • backup battery (sometimes I use...

Can the Z83-4 improve my experience?
