Charging the F10 Deluxe Air Mouse Remote

I have a Mele F10 deluxe air mouse that came with my Minix X8-H Pro.

When I attempt to charge the remote, the red led on the side comes on for a few seconds and then goes out. I can disconnect and reconnect the cable and the same thing happens. When I first received the X8 and charged the mouse, the red led would come on and stay on and turn green when the remote was fully charged.

I tried letting the remote charge overnight but the led does not turn green.

Any suggestion on what I...

I was reading somewhere that the x8-h plus device will be receiving an update to lollipop? Is this true? Can I expect the new version to fix some of my streaming issues? Also I read somewhere else that minix is support a custom build of xmbc? I (think) I have the latest version of Kodi and don't appear to have problems with Kodi itself just some streams don't work for me but have been confirmed working with other users with other hardware confirmed they work... Does this custom xmbc exist?...

New Neo U1 user need setup help

I just picked up a Minix Neo U1 box and have been trying to understand how to set it up. I was disappointed to find out there was no User Manual (other than a very simple Quick Start Guide) I don't understand a lot of the different features in this box and am struggling with getting XBMC/Kodi to run properly. Some questions:
1) Does anyone know if a detailed Setup or User Manual is available anywhere? (I have not been able to find)
2) XBMC/Kodi support. I successfully did a firmware...

Miracast Neo u1 to Huawai P8 lite

Hi all,

I have try ro link my Minix Neo U1 to my Huaway P8 lite using miracast.
I've gota lot of lagg, lot of squares (video problem) when I change pages or play games.

Also, with my P8 lite, I can't play miracast with internet connected...

Any idea?

I have box from 2 hours but it continue to Lost wifi connection.
Have last firmware but After few minutes it don't see the wifi router.
My router is Netgear 2200 and the others devices not have problem with them

Couldn't find any information on the internet and i heard there were some problems with the minix x7.

Video Stutter

Can someone please tell me if I can resolve video stutter when I use android apps for watching tv. The stutter isnt apparent when I watch the equivalent channels via the kodi addons e.g. BBC and ITV. I would use Kodi all the time but the paid IPTV provider I use thats gives me all I need ay the right price only have an android app. The stutter though is exactly the same as the BBC and ITV apps. It is particularly noticeable on camera panning but is still there on small movements as well.

Hi all
This week I've been testing out a new X8-H Plus. Terrific little unit - so thanks for all the work that's gone into it.

I have one strange issue that I'm hoping someone can assist with. When playing either live TV or a recording from any of the ABC Australia channels, I get horrible stutter. Its almost like its playing at half frame rate. This does not occur on other channels, although I thought the encoding was the same. Issue is the same whether I'm using Kodi 16.1, SPMC, Minix or...

Hi. I'm new here. First post.

Brand new NGC-1. Noticed this during initial setup while on an old LCD monitor with DVI (I used a DVI->HDMI converter).

The computer detects and shows 2 displays in almost all display related setup pages, Windows and Intel Graphics, but only one is connected.

When I later moved the machine to a TV with HDMI connection, 2 displays were still detected, but only one TV connected. Upon further examination, it appeared that one of the TV devices supported...

VPN + remote control

Hello,

X8-H plus user here. I have a VPN app from the play store. I'm also using the Google TV remote app and the RemoteIME app. I believe what is happening is the remote apps require to be able to access the X8 on my LAN, but once I connect the VPN, the device traffic is now going over the VPN tunnel which breaks the remote control app communication.

Is it possible to add a static route or other type of traffic splitting so that the LAN traffic is not tunneled?

Minix U1 or Nvidia Shield

I'm considering returning my Minix U1 for a Nvidia Shield, which will cost £50 more. I'm after opinions from people who know more about the advantages and disadvantages of doing this, but I have read the Nvidia box has more horsepower and, unlike the Minix, supports full HD in both Youtube and Netflix. What advantages does the Minix have and, whilst I know this is a Minix forum, would it be a good idea to do this in your opinions?

Good day all. I recently purchased my first media player the Minix U1. At first I wasn't very impressed but I got it working fine now except I can't get our local Satellite provider's Apps through which you can view their live Tv and Sport to work on the U1. The Apps work fine on my Galaxy S6 which also runs Android Lollipop 5.1. It also doesn't allow the Miracast to send the images to my U1 but all other Apps does allow. I am legally signed-in on the Satellite account. The service provider is...

Hi,

I would like to know if Minix U1 supports the Orange TV app which is a pay per view platform from Orange (France Telecom) to watch films and football. All Android TV box that I tested are not compatible with the app so I would appreciate if someone can search at Google Play and try to install using Minix U1 device. I would like to know before purchasing the Minix U1 device. Much appreciated.
