Hi!!!!! I bought neo z83-4 three days ago. So,,the first times, win 10 said "LAN network not avaible, unidentified network", while wi-fi network worked, was right. Now, NEO doesn't see LAN port: on win 10 setting panel, network and internet section, the ETHERNET term is disappeared!!!!! Wifi network is still working, and very well. But i don't have LAN mode.
One thing: all my lan router ports are efficients, i use lan ports for other my pc's , and it's all right. Only neo LAN doesn't work...

Best backup solution?

Hi,

Now that I'm getting things pretty much the way I want them, I'd like to be able to make a reliable backup that will get me back up and running if that little SSD dies someday. What is the best way to backup these devices in the case of complete SSD failure? Is Windows Backup enough or would it be best to do an offline disc image?

I'm using this as a MediaPortal client so I am not concerned about incremental backups or anything like that. I just want to be able to put in a new SSD (if...

Hi. I'm new here. First post.

Brand new NGC-1. Noticed this during initial setup while on an old LCD monitor with DVI (I used a DVI->HDMI converter).

The computer detects and shows 2 displays in almost all display related setup pages, Windows and Intel Graphics, but only one is connected.

When I later moved the machine to a TV with HDMI connection, 2 displays were still detected, but only one TV connected. Upon further examination, it appeared that one of the TV devices supported...

Minix Neo U1 vs Beelink GT1

Hi I have ordered a Minix Neo U1 and I am about to receive it soon. But today I saw that Beelink GT1 model has s912 cpu instead of s905 and it comes with Android 6.0. It is also half price of U1 so is it worth to buy U1? Could you please compare these two. Should I change mine or should I go with U1? I heard that GT1 has a worse wireless issues like air stream.

Can somebody confirm the latest release and offer a download link please. I want the Minix custom version not a link to the Play store for Kodi..

I recently purchased a Minix Neo U1 and I need it to automatically start up when plugged in. There is a jumper on the other Minix boxes to turn this feature on but there doesn't seem to be a jumper on the U1.

Cannot get multiple screens working

Hi all,

I currently have two Z83-4's and am hoping to eventually replace all of our office computers with these and use them to run virtual machines from our server. The problem is everyone uses two monitors and I just cannot get two screens working on these two test machines.

I've tried buying a Mini DP to VGA adapter, which apparently should work, but it just will not detect the second monitor. I've tested the adapter on my laptop with the same monitor and it works just fine, so I...

Just a quick note, Thank you so much for XBMC Minix 16.3 Beta!
I have it installed on my X8H P and it is very fast compared to Kodi 16.1 and SPMC. I have the exact same install on all three and the Minix version is noticeably faster moving around the menus and inside the add ons. Whatever magic sauce you are using it is working!

In all three I do have one infuriating issue which makes me think it is a Kodi issue and not a Minix issue however I would love the big brains opinions.

DTSHD passthrough not working

hello, just purchased this U1 and cant get DTSHD passthrough to work. All other formats are working, DD, DD THD, DTS. I have now completely reloaded firmware, tested severel different kodi builds and all have same issue. Can anyone confirm this works on their unit and what firmware and xbmc build you are using?

I only watch FilmOn and Showbox, then after a year, pop ups appear every 3mins. Unlike my laptop where I can use Virus stuff to clean it, I resorted to rebooting the 6 and wiping everything.

I downloaded FilmOn, and clicked on AppInstaller, was then asked to Choose Device to Scan Apks, the only option is Local Disk, when clicked on it says 'No Apk Found!' . . .. . .

I feel called upon and found wanting, not for the first time. I'm out of my depth, just hoping that someone can advise me. . . ....

Hi first time post so bare with me. Have bought the minix neo u1. Great box but I have a problem with the screen going blank for a second and then comes back in green. I can still see the picture through the green. I never loose the sound. I tried two different HDMI cables but still have the problem. Have tried using the three hdmi ports on the TVs but still have the problem. Since the last update it doesn't seem to happen as often. Have others experienced this problem and if so can anyone shed...

Gamepad support for a few new games on U1

Bought U1 last week and a after reading some recommendations here i bought G910 gamepad (as recommended by Ken) to play games on this box. Sure there are some games that it support like Riptide 2, Sonic 1, Dead Trigger, Asphalt 8, Shadow Gun, AirAttack Lite and maybe maybe more others. But I really like Dungeon Hunter 5 and Order and Chaos 2 and the G910 gamepad just wouldn't work on it. I did test the game pad on my Moto X Style and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and also Xperia Z3 Compact and all...
