Neo U1 A2 airmouse Firefox Browser Grab and scroll not working

Got Neo U1 A2 (air mouse) and tested same on friends X8. Firefox (browser) Grab and scroll not working, possible just use it button down, but not on all pages etc. www.minixforum.com button down is useless and not working you can press down as much as you like it won't scroll down. This encounters only in FIREFOX browser (strange that when you use it on firefox menu is fully working, but not on pages itself) on google chrome is working fine. Using firefox...

The u1 does not start

help my...my u1 new box does not start... when i completely disconnected the power input, the u1 does not start. sometimes boot u1 normal ...russian roulette!!! what can i do?

Stuck at the MINIX startup page

I just received my neo u1 and on start up its stuck to this page. I've reboot it by switching off the switch and it still stuck. Need to do it a few times before it's ok.

Any advice if it happens again. Thanks

Screen goes black for a few seconds then back over hdmi

hi guys.

Sometimes, after using the U1 for an hour or two, the screen starts to go to black and then comes back - its seems like the HDMI turns off and the TV picks it up again a few seconds later. It will repeat this continuously until I reboot the unit. I am at the latest firmware.

This happens regardless of whether I am playing a video or just sitting on the home screen. Should I return the unit ?

Z83 Black Screen won't boot up

Today My Z83 seems to have stopped working. When I went to turn it on today...nothing!
When I power it on the green LED light comes on but doesn't seem to boot up, just black screen, no minix logo, nothing.
Tried pressing the rest button with a pin for 5sec. Nothing, green light stays solid green.
- The windows 10 fast boot feature has always been disabled.
- Any kind of sleep mode features have always been set to disabled.
- Tried unplugging and plug back in the HDMI cable.
- Tried unplugging...

Gamepad support for a few new games on U1

Bought U1 last week and a after reading some recommendations here i bought G910 gamepad (as recommended by Ken) to play games on this box. Sure there are some games that it support like Riptide 2, Sonic 1, Dead Trigger, Asphalt 8, Shadow Gun, AirAttack Lite and maybe maybe more others. But I really like Dungeon Hunter 5 and Order and Chaos 2 and the G910 gamepad just wouldn't work on it. I did test the game pad on my Moto X Style and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and also Xperia Z3 Compact and all...

Hello everyone. I have minix neo u1 and i want to use any webcam for skype. What cams are compatible for minix neo u1? I think to bye Logitech C270 HD WebCam. Is this compatible cam for minix neo u1?

Z83-4 black screen [virtual extended display]

hi ,
I gust got my new minix z83-4 and when I try to turn it on from sleep mode after a couple of hours of not using it. I get a black screen.
The only thing that help is to unplug the power and plug it back
Is there any solution?

Android 5.0 Lollipop

Hi,

Yes indeed, support for Android 5.0 Lollipop for MINIX devices (Neo X8-H and others).

So far, I'm Not too keen on using 'Android TV' for MINIX especially if 'Android TV' might limit or take away some of the great software features that MINIX incorporates.

However, Android 5.0 Lollipop with the inclusion o the new "Material Design" theme would be an awesome addition to our Television screens with MINIX :)

MINIX should use and nicely exploit all the features that Android 5.0 Lollipop has...

NGC-1 crashed and does not start anymore

Hi all,

After running for a few hours my Device crashed and the shell> windows appears.
Any Idea how to work around this?

It simple doesn't boot anymore.

Flash firmware with Windows 10 on X8-H

Hi everyone.
I've been trying to flash my Minix Neo X8-H through USB Burning Tool in Windows 10 with no success. Basically it's very hard to get the device connected and when I finally manage to do it as soon as I start the burning process a "ping" like removing an USB comes up and I get the following error:
Error result: [0x00301001]Erase bootloader/Switch Status/Enum device/Enum error
Is this something related to doing it in Win 10? How can I solve this?

Connection to DVI-Monitor

I have a problem with my NEO C (HDMI-Version). I can connect with monitors over a HDMI-cable. But if I want to connect to a Monitor, which only supports DVI-Connections, I can't get any connection.

I'm using a simple HDMI-Cable an a DVI-to-HDMI-Adapter.

Is this combination supported, or am I trying somethin impossible.

Do I nead a Firmware-Update for my NEO C? How can I check, which Firmware I have?

Cannot play anymore a iptv channel

Hi there, is my first time here also because my Minix Neo U1 was perfect before this afternoon. I don't know why but if I play a iptv channel don't play anything, with xbmc-kodi-and every app on playstore. Yesterday it was perfect as usually, i haven't done changed nothing and installed nothing today so is really strange. I've rebooted, restored and also re flashed but is the same. I've also checked if was the iptv list but on my smartphone and on my PC it play. So, what can happened?

Custom Mouse Pointer / Cursor

Hey everyone, just have a quick question in regards to the mouse pointer. In the newest update its been shrunk down a bit and is now green. I'm all good with that but I am wondering if I can change it to say a Crosshair in order to play a shooting game. Is there perhaps an app I can use or would I have to edit something before I flashed the box ?

Z83-4 Windows 10 drivers

Hi All!

after clean re-install Windows 10 cannot find some drivers - audio and network among them (see screenshot). I could not find any link in Minix page to download drivers from. Does somebody know where to find them? Thank you in advance!

Not able to access a USB HDD

I am lately having difficulty in accessing a USB HDD on a sata cradle. I do not see the device on Metro though an internal 64G sdcard is visible. There were instances where the drive was present and accessible along with the sdcard but lately the drive refuses to appear. I deleted ES file explorer as a test as the app presents the HDD as USB004 with no mention of size, much less being able to access the files within.
I understand that you have to boot up android with the HDD attached and...

Is there a guide to re-imaging a zd3-4 to 'out of the box' clean? I have 5 of these to scrub and would love a Minix provided image for a usb disk or something.

60FPS on YT in X8-H Plus

Hi,

Is X8-H Plus able to run 60FPS in YT app? Because more and more videos I'm watching is playing in more then 50 frames, it isn't really enjoyable to see how it really shutters while playing. I've did last week update in my X8-H Plus to 010 firmware, but it didn't resolve problem. Maybe it's problem with app? I updated that too from 1.2.7 to 1.3.11 but it didn't help.
Also, it's not a problem with bandwith, because I tried wired connection and it didn't change anything.
