ES File Explorer issue??

I used Es File Explorer to upload a film from my Windows laptop to my Neo U9-H through Remote Manager i.e. wirelessly it moved across and all went well and the file showed up in Local/Downloads but when I do a long click on the file and select it I can't do anything with it I can't Copy, Move, Rename, Delete it goes through the motions as can be seen in the images but it just sits there saying for instance deleting I have left it for several minutes but it sits at 0% completed.

Any ideas?...

IR Codes / Pronto Codes for the U9-H

Hi...

Does anyone have a list of IR codes for the U9-H? I've found that the codes I have for the Neo x8-h plus work on the U9-H, which is great, but I only have a small number of codes. I don't have any play,pause,stop, etc. codes for example...

I'd love to have a backup remote for this device on my phone, but for it to be fully functional I'd like to have more codes.

Severe inability to use bluetooth!

Bluetooth dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooes not work properly on Minix Z83-4.
As you can ssssssssssssssee it costaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaantly over prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrints letters!
Have a fix pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!

Kodi 17.3 decode AAC 5.1 as 2.1 only !!!

Dear all,

I have Minix Neo U9-H and I had download
Planet.Earth.II.Season.1.S01.2160p.4K.UHD.10bit.HDR.BluRay.AAC.5.1.x265.HEVC-MZABI

when I were played it using Kodi 17.3 its decoded as 2.1 although the files were AAC 5.1, but when I played it again using Minix smbc 16.3 beta its decoded correctly as 5.1 !!!

By the way I'd already bypass the audio settings and even Kodi 17.3 was able to decode the TrueHD and Dts-Hd MA easily!

What is the solution for Kodi 17.3?

Best External Storage for Minix U9: SD Card, USB stick, USB Drive?

I'm a bit worried about the 16 GB on the machine. Yet, I don't anticipate downloading a lot of videos or music. Although I'm sure that will happen some. What is your experience with external memory? Is it slow? Do you find that 16 GB is too small? Do I need to buy an expensive, fast SD Card? what is best idea?

Can I extend these drives as internal memory? Are there draw backs to this?

Minix Neo U1 keeps opening settings location on boot up

For some reason my minix neo u1 started opening the settings screen for location on boot up. Super annoying and Can t get it to stop. Location services are on but still pops up. If I turn it off than it stops but a window pops up saying no location service and gives me option to turn on or cancel. Any help would be much appreciated.

Google Play store updates

Hi Team

I recently bought Minix U9-H box and I have a few queries concerning the Google play store app. Apologies, if this has been advised elsewhere, I was not able to find them.

  1. The play store app does not show pre-installed applications during initial boot and subsequent firmware updates. I have to manually go find the pre-installed app in the play store and update it. It only then registers the app in installed apps in my apps and games page.
  2. I see the device certificate in...

NEO U9-H FW005 beta release

Dear all U9-H users,

We are releasing a beta firmware (v005) for U9-H today.

Most of the problems reported, suggestions are being addressed in this build and while there are many changes that we've made, we believe it's better to release this public beta for testing before we finalize the official FW005 release.

Here is the change log since FW004A:

1.) Added the "Clear All" button in the recent apps list page
2.) Improved .avi video playback smoothness while using HW decoding...

Neo U1 crash

my neo u1 doesnt work anymore

yesterday nite when i turn on the neo. at my led tv it telling player crash. and have shame box to press. but when i try to move my neo 2 lite. it seems like its crash already,, i remember the nite before i was playing HOOQ streaming, and fall asleep.

today the box only showing blue color led, tried the plug power while press the power button for more than 10seconds, tried the plug power then press power for more than 10seconds, tried reset button below the tf...

Dear all NEO Z64-A users,

First of all, sorry about the delay of releasing September's firmware as we were having an exhibition in Berlin early last month and then got tied up with lots of following tasks, and then now we are having the National holidays here for a week. Apologies for that!

We have uploaded the full zip update image to the forum server (EU).
Please download the "update.zip" package, verify the checksum, no need to unpack it, copy to a USB drive...

I try to downgrade to previous FW (from 004A to 003) and i followed instructions as is given on tutorial.
Downloaded FW, put on the USB flash and trying to install.
What I did wrong?

Hello, I was trying to re-sync my remote and I have been hitting fn and P together and when I let go the first LED is lit up for the first 30 seconds. Then I try to use the remote the first LED lights up again for the same pattern and the remote still doesn't work. What Am I doing wrong?
