Screen Becomes Green/Purple

Hi.
As i read for another Minix products, also in U9-H it happens.
My TV is a Philips 32pfl7403d.
I tried different resolutions and activate/disactivate RGB option.
Is possible to fix the firmware definitevely?

is my Neo X7 dead? (another "not powering up thread"

Hi,

Received a Neo X7 and it is not powering up. Not sure when was the last time it worked. I really want to get it working...
(of course I read all the "not powering up" thread here...)

When I plug the power cord and press the power button I can see a red light flashing for a split of a second on the optical audio port. Then it goes off. And no video out at all.

Checked power supply (5v, 2500mA), and it appeared OK. Bought another power supply, just in case. Same results. (5v, 3000mA)....

is my Neo X7 dead? (another "not powering up thread"

Windows Update Assistant fails with error 0xC1900200
I think the problem is that there must be at least 20GB free on C drive -- I have about 15GB free.
Also Media Creation Tool created USB flash drive says that not enough space in System Reserved partition. Mine is 64MB, and I think I need to expand to 450MB.,

Hi Folks just returned to minix and purchased a Neo U1, nice thing and all working...........except for blutooth headphones which connect and pair but I get no sound..............is there a way to resolve this as I really need the headphones..........can a dongle for bluetooth be put in a usb and get it to work....appreciate any help or guidance here as I cant find an answer

Issues with the U9

Hi guys,

Unfortunately I'm experiencing major issues with my U9 over the last few weeks.
The device lags occaisionally, the VLC player crashes, MX Player as well, when I try to stream a torrent via AceStream. Also Kodi loads, but no once I add Exodus - the circle starts rotating and that's it...nothing happens for more than 30mins.
I did a factory reset, reintalled Kodi - nothing. Any suggestions what I shall do?

Horizon Go (UPC)?

Hi everyone

Im thinking about puchasing u9h to use it only for Horizon GO app. Thing is that I found several topics on different forums in which ppl were saying that Horizon Go app is not working - can be installed but streaming is not starting and returns some errors.

I talked with minix devs and they said they cannot test it as this app is not available in their region in Google store. Talked with UPC support and they said that their app should work on any Android device if it was not...

Box keeps giving no video after a while

I have a U9-H (firmware 004A) with A3 remote connected via HDMI to my Pioneer AV amplifier which then goes to my TV via HDMI.

I have not used this box much but recently I have noticed that the video picture (and sound) disappears after many minutes. I can't be certain but it's about 10+ minutes. Has anyone else got this problem?

My Pioneer has a red light when it is receiving a valid video signal and this light goes out and my TV says no signal received. I have just watched a DVD on my DVD...

We are releasing a beta firmware (v005) for U9-H today.

Most of the problems reported, suggestions are being addressed in this build and while there are many changes that we've made, we believe it's better to release this public beta for testing before we finalize the official FW005 release.

Here is the change log since FW004A:

1.) Added the "Clear All" button in the recent apps list page
2.) Improved .avi video playback smoothness while using HW decoding...

Power led Green instead of Blue?!?

Hello,

it has happened couple of times,

from Minix off:
I tried to turn it on and instead a green light show up and no boot at all, had to remove the power cable and try again.

from Minix on:
I turned off from windows and the light instead of going off it went from blue to green.

no documentation found, any help please?

U9H - Problems with Kodi 17.3 home screen

Im on the latest U9H firmware but Kodi is behaving weird.

In the skin settings, I de-selected a few tabs that I didnt want appearing on the startup screen.

The settings hold during the current session….but when I exit and restart Kodi, all those tabs re-appear.

Is this a bug? I have the same setting enabled on another box (Shield) and it doesn't do this.

Automatically waking up Z83-4 from sleep (Windows Task scheduler) ?

Hi guys, windows machine are expected to wake up with the windows task scheduler.

I have tried on the Z83-4 but it still does not work until now.
Any ideas ? Anything special to configure with the powercfg command? with power options (sleep mode) or with the BIOS ?

Netgear nighthawk drops internet connection with U9

Hi,

I have been using the U9 with a Sky router with no problems, streaming films etc via Kodi addons.

Yesterday I installed a Netgear nighthawk D7800 modem router to replace my Sky hub modem router. I have no problems with Wifi amd internet, with several devices attached when using this new modem router.
However, when I connect the U9 to the modem router within 20 minutes the modem router drops its connection to the isp, I then have to reboot the modem router. The internet connection remains...

No signal on HDMI

Hi,

I've got an issue with my NEO C (HDMI version).

My hw: Macbook 12" early 2015, iiyama PL2377 display.
OS: El Capitain 10.11.6 (I just upgraded, previous versions were the same).

After connecting the monitor, monitor wakes up, however after few seconds it goes to sleep with "No signal".

After unplugging and plugging back the HDMI cable, I can sometimes get it going, however it takes up to 10 or even more tries (HDMI cable unplug - plug) until finally I get it working (it sure is not...

Difficulty navigating

I just got a U1. I use the original IR remote, and the A2 lite.

The on screen cursor does not highlight selections properly. I can't even tell where it is most of the time. It's either very slow to respond or it's off the screen, i don't know. It makes things very very random and frustrating.

I am also trying to get it to recognize my Logitec k400 keyboard. How do I configure that? Been all over setting and it's not showing up. Yes I have good batteries, I have it turned on, I have the usb...

Kodi 17.3 decode AAC 5.1 as 2.1 only !!!

Dear all,

I have Minix Neo U9-H and I had download
Planet.Earth.II.Season.1.S01.2160p.4K.UHD.10bit.HDR.BluRay.AAC.5.1.x265.HEVC-MZABI

when I were played it using Kodi 17.3 its decoded as 2.1 although the files were AAC 5.1, but when I played it again using Minix smbc 16.3 beta its decoded correctly as 5.1 !!!

By the way I'd already bypass the audio settings and even Kodi 17.3 was able to decode the TrueHD and Dts-Hd MA easily!

What is the solution for Kodi 17.3?
