MINIX NEO U-9 AND MINIX NEO A2 LITE

hello guys
help please . sos
i have the minix box with the remote control
when i try to put it to sleep via the power button on the remote the
screen turns off and then the screen is turning on again and the device wont go to sleep
the power button definition on the settings of the device are set correctly
what can be the problem
how i can fix this

Frame drops in Kodi

Every 4 or 5 minutes i have a few frame drops in kodi 17.3 :
My settings:
Auto adaptation level 1 or 2 make no diff.
Android: no apps installed or removed
Latest firmware
Tried every video setting in kodi 17.3
Audio: pass-trough on or of no diff.
Install Kodi Jarvis: Same problem
I have no advanced settings in kodi.
Movies are on nas
Wired connection
It happened with all resolutions (I have no UHD)
Further smooth playing.
Maybe an app in android......

Severe inability to use bluetooth!

Bluetooth dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooes not work properly on Minix Z83-4.
As you can ssssssssssssssee it costaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaantly over prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrints letters!
Have a fix pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!

The obvious sources like Google and Amazon of course, but if someone wants to source APK that for various reasons, those outlets decide that you can't have, where is a safe place to download them?

Because it seems like a minefield out there.

Hey, I'm bored and need to fill my U9-H up with some games that I can play with a controller.
Since Google introduced family accts I've bulked my collection up with my kids games as well but would like some more.

Games I've bought so far :

All Lego games
Riptide
All GTA games
All Final Fantasy games
Minecraft
NBA Jam
Soul Calibur

There's more but I can't look right now.
I'll play almost anything.
Going to get un-killed and Modern Combat 5 so don't need any more FPS games

I'm pushing in the SD card to the tf slot and it doesnt stay in, there is no "click".
and I know that the SD card should be upside down.

What am I doing wrong? tryed 2 different sd cards.

I had to do a factory reset an delete all data.
Thing is, the minix wont install the previously installed apps like xmbc for minix and others that had come by default.
Any solutions? How do i het them back?

New Minix U9-H Kodi Issues

New box arrived with pre loaded Kodi 17.1 RC. I had started to download a few addons when I checked on the youtube videos that I should delete that version and get a clean copy from the Kodi site. I loaded a new copy of 17.1. The few addons of Exodus, Zen and a cleaner worked ok. During a movie, the box would close Kodi and go to the home screen. Then the update to 17.2 where when I started Kodi, I received a "Kodi not responding, do you want to close it...report, wait or close". Then over...

Hi I updated my minix box a while ago and I use it every night but last night it turned off by itself and doesn't come back on I tried it with other plugs but it doesn't come on no blue light or anything can someone please help me I have the minix neo x7 16gb version with this update on it

Power loss: failed to mount /mnt/external_sd

I just had a power loss and now my minix can't boot. It enters Android system recovery (3e) after having failed to mount /mnt/external_sd

Version is KOT49H.

What are my options at this point? Wipe everything and redo everything? Or is there a less fatal approach?

Disappointment with U9-H

I have a 6 years WDTV media player.

It is outdated because it does not support x265 codec, DTS, Dolby etc. etc.

I decided to buy one of the best android player.

At least bunch reviews say so.

But I have to admit I'm very, very disappointed with U9-H.


Image quality is considerably, I repeat, considerably worse than on WD.

I'm talking about 720p and 1080p.

How it is possible that the hardware beast, compared to the old WD, has a worse picture?

Another crappy thing is the audio signal...

i am having issues with the U9 i just purchased hopefully an easy fix.

2 main problems
1st problem - audio dropping out every few minutes.

2nd problem - Bad visual quality, not sharp almost dvd like quality, slightly darker ( i could live with this not too much of an issue ), and banding.

my receiver is a Yamaha 5.1 ch rx-v 467 model.
TV is 55" 4k LG OLED B6.
HDMI cables i have used are cheap ones and $100 monster brand cable, (same audio drops).
All cables run thru my...

For those who want to try before you buy, here is a way with pictures to get Lollipop onto your X8-H Plus before Minix release their official one:

IR Codes / Pronto Codes for the U9-H

Hi...

Does anyone have a list of IR codes for the U9-H? I've found that the codes I have for the Neo x8-h plus work on the U9-H, which is great, but I only have a small number of codes. I don't have any play,pause,stop, etc. codes for example...

I'd love to have a backup remote for this device on my phone, but for it to be fully functional I'd like to have more codes.
