NEO U1 support for HDMI CEC remote control up-down-left-right-enter-options-red-green control?

Hi,

I hate many remote controls so I want to use my Sony Bravia's remote control to control NEO U1 like I control my PS3.

Does NEO U1 support HDMI CEC user interface control ?
That is: up-down-left-right-enter and options/info etc.

I browsed the net and "NEO U1 HDMI CEC support" seems to be only wakeup-from-sleep?

i believe my minix performed a system update
and now when I turn it on, the blue light comes on but no video output and no other sign of life.

tried pressing the reset button on the bottom - didn't help.

How do I go about fixing it - and if a factory reset is required how is it done?

Hi. I'm still getting used to my U9 after years of being with WDTV LiveHub. I'm watching some mkv's and have so far been using MoviePlayer as it's the only player that kept A/V synch properly. The Kodi Krypton 17.4 was always 'out'.

Then I read about 'Kodi for Minix' and thought that would be what I needed. If it's Kodi made specifically for Minix then why does it not come 'shipped' with the device, I wonder?

Anyway, I read some threads and it seems there are still some synch issues and that...

Power led Green instead of Blue?!?

Hello,

it has happened couple of times,

from Minix off:
I tried to turn it on and instead a green light show up and no boot at all, had to remove the power cable and try again.

from Minix on:
I turned off from windows and the light instead of going off it went from blue to green.

no documentation found, any help please?

Hi guys.
Sorry for my bad English.
Hope you can help me.

Yesterday I flashed my x8h plus with lollipop.
Works great.. with my a2 lite air mouse.
(With the green ring on it)


Today bought a second one.
With a regular a2 air mouse
(With the red ring on it)
I flashed my x8h with lollipop.

Now when I play a mediafile I got no sound.
In setup i selected No usb sound to on.
Now I have sound only I can't select volume up and down..

How can I fix this?

Probleam with Minix Neo U1 and SPMC

Hi Guys,
i'd wish to understand why when i launch SPMC and try to see a movie, the first time i listen obly teh audio and the screen is black. so I close SPMC, I re-launch it (without restarting Minix) and this time it works normally.

it happens everytime i turn on the minix box. XBMC and Kodi 17.4 work regularly, SPMC instead ... i have to launch it twice before it works.

Not a big problem. but i was curious if someone understand why.

need help with U1 downloading problem

I have 2 U1s purchased about 6-8 months ago (2 months apart), and now both have the same malfunction (occurring the same 2 months apart). The second U1 is on Kodi 17.4 and I've tried it with both Covenant and now with Elysium and get the same problem in both cases.
The second U1 was running perfectly until 2 days ago when it all of a sudden it refused to stream any TV or movies on Covenant and now on Elysium. The menu comes up but when I click on a particular program, it just returns to the...

need help with U1 downloading problem

Just purchased this and I'm trying to get the Ethernet working. The cable is connected , I switched the Wi-Fi off and Ethernet on, but status shows not connected to internet. Any ideas please?

Red Mute in Kodi

This is driving me crazy and YES I should know better. No sound in Kodi (15 beta downloaded from minix site) on Z64 Android.

Red mute in upper right hand corner during video. NO SOUND on any video file. I DO NOT KNOW what I did to mute video. HONEST.

Audio goes through HDMI and is sent via optical to Vizio amplifier. But, it doesn't matter if I activate TV speakers still no sound.

So.... I've tried everything to fix. Turned up volume in the devices, in KODI and pressed the A2 Mouse remote...

Chromecast built-in on U1

Hi everyone.

I recently bought the U1 (my first Android media player). When the screensaver comes on, I see it says "Chromecast built-in". But, for the life of me, I can't get it working or showing up in any of my cast menus.

Can someone confirm if this is indeed supported on the U1? If so, how did you set it up?

Minix X7 - wifi not working

Hi all,
I've an X7 but recently I recognized that wifi is not working.
It worked, may be before two years ago, but last years I used the lan.
It's updated to latest OTA firmware.

Now I need to use wifi but nothing, it's still searching but don't find anything.
My test:
1. factory reset
2. flash with 2.50 downloaded firmware
3. opened, tested that wire from antenna to pcb (and chip's pin) is not interrupted
4. repleaced the antenna with another

Nothing, it don't find none wifi, ever.

Is there a way either in settings or an app in Play store that would change when I hit Home the launcher would land on All Task Killer. There is always a lot of apps open and I use this feature a lot to speed the box up. I know there are other launchers but I like Metro.

PS VUE app problem

Just starting out with U9-H and having a problem with Vue. Does PS Vue app work on this device?

I can sign in and get to the home page but I can not select anything. The air mouse can move around but clicking does nothing.

Using the directional buttons can move the screen up and down but there is no highlight of the boxes and no selection.

The screen orientation is fixed in the setup. Anything else I can try?

Tried searching but can't search on 'PS Vue' because it's too common.
