MiniX U9-H: Remote control questions

Hi,

I have a MiniX U9-H. I'm using FW006 and Kodi 17.4.

I have the following questions regarding the remote control functionality:

1. On the included standard remote control there is no dedicated play/pause button. I would have assumed that would be one of the most basic buttons to have. Is there any reason why it is not included? And is there any similar button that can be used as substitute instead?

2. There is one setting: Settings->Remote & Accessories->Remote->On/Off. What does that...

Hi,

I have a MiniX U9-H. I'm using FW006 and Kodi 17.4.

I have the following questions regarding the power on/off functionality:

1. I have these HDMI CEC & Power key settings:
Settings->HDMI CEC->CEC Switch->On
Settings->HDMI CEC->One key poweroff->Off
Settings->Power key definition->Shutdown
If I have the MiniX, AVR and TV turned on and press "Power off" on the TV remote control, all devices except the MiniX shut down. Instead the MiniX power led turns green. And if I recall correctly, this...

Problem after standby with Kodi 17

Hi,

I have a problem with the box and live tv in Kodi.
When I wake up the box from standby live tv got no connection to my mediaportal TV server. When I close kodi and start kodi again, then it works.
The same problem is with kodi 16.1

Before this box I had a minix x8-h. There worked kodi 16.1 and there where no problem with standby and live tv. The server was with both boxes the same.

I don't know what's the problem, but I think it could be the firmware of the box.

Good day.

I'm using an X7 with the official Kitkat 250 firmware and am having problems with the YouTube app; not with all videos, but for a relatively large number of them sound plays, but video is black. As an example, I've not been able to get the following video to play in the YouTube app (newest, currently version 12.32.60) :

Minix X8-H Plus died

I started my Minix X8-H Plus this morning and keep getting blackscreen .

Attempts to restart did not work. Then I tried twice to reflashing the device

with a full system image and a PC - (USB_Burning_Tool_v2.0.6.2 and

X8H_PLUS_FW011_20170119 - the MD5 checksum was checked ) .

I twice get the same error message at 7% :

[0x30405004]UBOOT/PARTITION BOOT/Verify partition/Error result .

Search in the forum did not help .

Does this mean that my device has finally died or the problem has a...

Like U1, Libreelec V8 is coming with Amlogic S912 support (y)
It's Kodi 17 based and promise smoothness for everything.

It's a early beta version yet with lot of bugs or missing things but will evolve quickly.

I have a new Z83-4 and have installed the 1.66 BIOS. I use it in a kitchen as a TV access point for DirecTV (general use) and for Xfinity (live network channels from Denver.) The video is accessed via web browser, Chrome or Firefox.

I have trimmed down the start menu to minimize load on the processor, and only open one browser to login to the video sources. Chrome and Firefox show the same problem.

Hi,

I have the MiniX Neo U9-H with firmware FW006, and I'm using Kodi 17.4.

I cannot get movies with AAC 5.1 sound to play with 5.1 sound output.

I have tried these two Kodi Audio configurations:

1)
Number of Channels: 2.0 (I would have assumed this should be 5.1 since I have a 5.1 audio setup, but apparently it should be 2.0 according to other posts on this forum?)
Passthrough: On
AC3: Yes
Enable Dolby Digital (AC3) Transcoding: No
=> Result: Sound is output as 2 channel only.

There should be 4 gb in z83-4 and the pc says there's but only 1.8 gb can be used.
I know that some ram will be taken because of graphic but it should be not that much, right?

Good morning my friends,
I have purchased in past about 20 minix z64 for my office's employers and they runs very well, I'm really satisfied about minix products. Problems comes with this new NEO Z83-4. I bought 4 of them and they have a really slow performance when surfing on internet, especially on facebook the browser hangs on any page and is really impossibile at last to navigate without errors or blocks!

So I recently bought the NES30 Pro bluetooth controller for my Nintendo Classic Mini but also bought this controller because it should be compatible with Android (in my case, the Minix box).

Dear all X6, X8/X8-Plus/X8-H/X8-H-Plus users,

To flash the image firmware, you need to:

1.) Download the .img firmware package;
2.) Extract it;
3.) Install the Windows USB flash tool, downloading from:
http://www.minixforum.com/downloads/download.php?file=USB_Burning_Tool_v2.0.6.2.rar
Choose "Install anyway" when system prompts for driver installation, then open the application, and choose English (picture 1 & 2);

I want to update my X8 with a SD-card to 009 but can only find the SD-update file for 007. Can someone point me to the correct link for the latest FW for the SD-method? (PS OTA doens't work).

We're pleased to announce the official 006 firmware for NEO U9-H (20170810)

Users with FW005 may update to FW006 simply by our MINIX OTA app.
(OTA update window will be opened in the coming week)

NOTE: Adoptive storage (e.g. TF card) is not supported by our OTA, please remove any of such storages before proceeding.
