I have a new Z83-4 and have installed the 1.66 BIOS. I use it in a kitchen as a TV access point for DirecTV (general use) and for Xfinity (live network channels from Denver.) The video is accessed via web browser, Chrome or Firefox.

I have trimmed down the start menu to minimize load on the processor, and only open one browser to login to the video sources. Chrome and Firefox show the same problem.

I have a serious problem if anybody has any knowledge out there to help me it would be very much appreciated. A couple I really enjoyed the Minix machine when I first got it it was great, but somehow somewhere I must have gotten either of virus or malware or something attached to my machine. It takes over my admin rights and does not let me have access to my folders it stops me from doing any thing in my computer that such as running recovery drives or visiting the Microsoft website. Snes usb controler not working

Hi all

I have buyed an usb snes controler to play roms with the snes emulator but it doesn’t work. I have the latest original firmware with root function enabled.

With the custom probox firmware the controler works fine! I can use it to control the whole box
but there i have sound problems with other apps so i downgrade back with the latest original firmware with root function enabled.

So how can i fix this?

I just bought neo u1 last week. Now i want to buy a gamepad. As i recognized lots of people have problems with gamepads in old topics. im on f013 firmware. G910, ipega 9028,g3,g4... aren't available in my country. But i can buy other ipega models like 9023 or 9025, 9021 ... . I also read somethings about set gamepad to high priority by removing airmouse in order to fix the issue. Also i read something about press X+home in order to connect the gamepad. so X button is on gamepad, where is...

Minix X8-H Plus died

I started my Minix X8-H Plus this morning and keep getting blackscreen .

Attempts to restart did not work. Then I tried twice to reflashing the device

with a full system image and a PC - (USB_Burning_Tool_v2.0.6.2 and

X8H_PLUS_FW011_20170119 - the MD5 checksum was checked ) .

I twice get the same error message at 7% :

[0x30405004]UBOOT/PARTITION BOOT/Verify partition/Error result .

Search in the forum did not help .

Does this mean that my device has finally died or the problem has a...

Good morning ! I bought yesterday U9-H with A3. I tried to turn on the A3 pilot and nothing. So I did everything as in the instructions at the end of pairing the remote with U9-H led flashing 3 times and the pilot only works for 5 seconds, then nothing works. What's happening ??

Hi. I'm still getting used to my U9 after years of being with WDTV LiveHub. I'm watching some mkv's and have so far been using MoviePlayer as it's the only player that kept A/V synch properly. The Kodi Krypton 17.4 was always 'out'.

Then I read about 'Kodi for Minix' and thought that would be what I needed. If it's Kodi made specifically for Minix then why does it not come 'shipped' with the device, I wonder?

Anyway, I read some threads and it seems there are still some synch issues and that...

Wonder if anyone can help? Screen on tv is fine with Showbox or Youtube...if I use Mobdro however, screen is green and purple, impossible to watch anything, screen judders, freezes, is there any way to sort it or is the Minix damaged?

Soooo....
I am new to the game, but pretty tech savvy. I bought the U9-H and its been fun. Even figured out how to load builds on to Kodi!

Here is my pain. I run a speed test and the box will not go higher than 9.4Mbps both up and down speeds. I am running ethernet cable to it. This is the same cable that brings 275Mbps consistently to my PC sitting not 3 feet from my Minix box. I even tried to use Wifi and get the same 9.4Mbps speed.

I've had 2 Neo U1 for a little over a year and real happy with both of them... so, Now we just bought a new 55" 4K TV for our bonus room and I'm looking for a add on for it.. Like I said, I"m really happy with the 2 U-1 I have but is there some of the new units I should look at? Usually just using it for streaming and hoping 4k will get more popular. Is the U-1 still the best bang for the buck?

I have a minix x8-h plus that for years I move between the TV in the living room (50 ") and the bedroom (32") as needed.

Recently I noticed that when i move the TV to the bedroom (to the 32" tv). The movies in Kodi are in Zoom in , which cuts off parts of the picture.
I went into the device settings and did the calibration so that I could see the entire yellow stripe of the frame from all directions. I checked that in the TV settings I was not in zoom in and also in Kodi (which I'm not...

Like a lot of you, I have had nothing but issues with Netflix after purchasing the U9-H. I know it's not Minix fault, it's Netflix. What's ironic is that my sister n laws Neo U1 has no issues with Netflix nor does my X8-H. Just this new streaming device.

Issues that I have had -
Netflix says it is incompatible with my device. (clear the netflix cache in settings)
Netflix opens and then states Connection Failed (restart your device and also clear the cache again)

Hi. I have googled and didnt find anything concrete to make x5 autostart when.i.connect power Cable

1. I open MINIX x5 and there is no jumper for auto start.
Do anyone know if there is a way to sold some contacts to enable auto start?

2. Is there a way in settings or by instaling app to turn off option that MINIX power off when i hold power button more than 8 seconds?
If there is way then i would stick button to hold power on all the time and when i connect powercable it would autostart and...

Not able to play 3D bluray iso images using Minix NEO U9-H media player.
Read in may forums that Android 7 upgrade will be able to stream from 3D bluray iso images.
Any idea, when Minix will release Android 7 for NEO U9-H ?
