I have a new (3/1/17) Minix Neo Z83-4 that I have installed the new version 1.4 bios provided by Minix in this forum. I have gone into the bios and turned on the wake on LAN wol function. I have also for general purposes turned off sleep mode based on inactivity in windows 10. I have both logmein and an asus router that can send wake on LAN request from both within my network and also outside of it. But once I shutdown my Z83-4 I am unable to wake it. It is direct 1gb cabled with a cat6...

Z83-4 Pro: Failed to Reset PC
I've been trying to restore NEO Z83-4 Pro to factory settings, but going through the procedure to "Reset PC" in Windows 10 Pro, and the process starts fine, but I always end up with the error:
"There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made"
I've tried different methods to solve this on the Internet, but none worked.
Any idea, what may have gone wrong?

I went back to Android 4 on the minix x8 h + after trying Android 5 and the kodi kept crashing.
Now I've installed a version of mygica on Android 4. But there is no sound during video play when I mark the passthrough or Dolby Digital (AC3) receiver. When i remove the mark there is a sound. Also the system sound works while switching menus.
I had kodi 16.1 and marked the passthrough and got DD and DTS.
and the receiver gave 5.1 speaker indication and DD or DTS worked perfectly
Solution anyone?

Neo Z64W doesn't start anymore after Windows 10 update [Help]
i believe my minix performed a system update
and now when I turn it on, the blue light comes on but no video output and no other sign of life.
tried pressing the reset button on the bottom - didn't help.
How do I go about fixing it - and if a factory reset is required how is it done?

I can hear sound but no video, just black screen (works on Nexus 6)
Hey guys, i hope you can help me out with a problem.
My IPTV source added some 1080 channels which never existed before, and when i try to play those i just get a black screen with sound.
I tried the exact same thing using Kodi in my Nexus 6 and it works flawlessly there, but not using my U9.
Can you help me troubleshoot this please?

X8-H is dead?
Hi all, I ask you help for my X8-H. Last week, without any problem with power, I found my X8-H power off. I pushed power button and blu led turned on for 2 seconds and stop. Black screen. I tried take off cable, change HDMI cable but nothing.
So I connect Minix to my PC and I tried to flash FW with USB Burning tool but it stoped at 4% with problem of partition table. I tried connecting to USB 2.0, changed some USB cable but same result. Tried different ROM and different version of USB Burning....
X8-H is dead?

Hey guys, I'm currently in the market for a pair of wireless headphones to use with my Neo U1. My question is, are most wireless headphones compatible with the U1?
I'm looking at the Steelseries Arctis 7 Headset. I'll be using it with my PS4 as well, so I figured I'd try it with my Neo U1 as well (2 birds, etc.)
It has a little 2.4ghz transmitter that you plug into any USB port - would this work well with the U1, or would there be complications?

Wifi 5GHz not available anymore
Hello,
suddenly i have no WiFi 5 GHz option available no more on my minix U1. No updates were installed recently, just turn it on after 36hrs and no network available.
Other devices works without issues with that frequency. Any suggestions without hard reset ? Router rebooting did not solve issue. Thanks in advance.

Resume From Sleep Problems...
I am having a problem with my relatively new U9-H. When the unit has been in 'Sleep' mode for more than a few minutes (really can't give an exact number of minutes), it will not come back to life. The Blue LED lights up but then nothing happens. Seems like it is hung. The only solution is to pull the power and then restart it. I has been exhibiting this behavior since new.
I have searched the forum and found one or two references to something that sounds similar, but I have not found a...

Request: Framerate switch for kodi 17

i am recordnizing, that kodi 17.5.1 runs really well in U1 although no amlcodec is implemented.
Mediacodec runs smooth and well.
I am wondering that the Video is so smooth, even when 50hz interlace Video is running without any framerateswitching.
But nevertheless - the Video quality could be improved a little bit if framerateswitching would be available as well. There was a spmc 17 beta where framerate switching was working with mediacodec.
So could it be possible to provide something...

Ethernet as Wi-Fi not working in some apps
I've just switched from an older x8-h to a U9-h with firmware 7A. I use the ComedyGo app which requires Wi-Fi to work, and with the x8-h I could disguise my Ethernet as Wi-fi but with the U9-h that isn't working (the app still knows I'm using Ethernet).
Is the feature broken in the U9-h firmware, or do I need to do something beyond just checking the fake Wi-Fi box in settings?

It's Kodi 17 based and promise smoothness for everything.

a little rant here about U1 and possibility of utilizing Libreelec for it (dont kill me for it, please![:)]( "Smile :)")

With launch of Wetek Hub i discovered it can work with Libreelec (not Openelec but variant).
It seems Libreelec is more frequently updated then Openelec and looking at the test review over at Kodi forum 24p playback is fine as well as HD audio bitstream.
Also HERE is a thread with up to date releases made specifically for S905...

Connecting PC speakers (TV or U9)
Hi all
I have a samsung series 8 55" TV. I just upgraded from an x8h plus to the U9 and really enjoying it.
I know this is not ideal, I have a proper home theater setup in my living room with an onkyo receiver and wharfedale speakers.
The U9 is in my bedroom so I just want really small speakers. I have some bose computer music monitors which sound incredible for a L+R the size of a coke can (but square).
They're in my laptop now but since that's a laptop I think they will be put to better...
