New U9 - can't see my HDD nor see U9 on my network

Hi. My U9 arrived yesterday, I connected all the cables AND my 2TB USB HDD then switched on. Everything worked and I could play my videos. Then I updated the FW, as you do with a new device but then there was no sign of my HDD. I did a factory reset and my HDD reappeared. Thinking it was a glitch, I did the update operation again – same story.

I'm currently on the factory settings – MCH19J.20170623. Can anyone suggest why I can't see my HDD after an update?

Also, I have Samba turned on but...

Hello

I have a sd card transcend premium 300x 64GB installed as internal storage

With the previous update firmware, I had a problem during the upgrade: error after the reboot.

After several attempts and various configurations, the solution I found was not to install a sd card as internal storage, upgrade and reconfigure the sd card after the upgrade

an installation with a sd card installed in internal storage is supported?

i believe my minix performed a system update
and now when I turn it on, the blue light comes on but no video output and no other sign of life.

tried pressing the reset button on the bottom - didn't help.

How do I go about fixing it - and if a factory reset is required how is it done?

People can slate me if they want but the whole u-9 is just one big disappointment from the get go just full of bugs and things not working again another 20 updates just to make the simple things work.
I’m sorry minix but you’re products are no longer superior in the market and this will be my last purchase from you.

Can I play Google Play movies in another media player?

Hi all...

Apologies if this is something that's already been discussed at length, but have searched this forum and Google and haven't really found many similar queries.

I bought a movie through Google Play Movies (Ripley's Game) and went to play it (after a savagely long download), and it seems to play within the Play Movies app itself. The trouble is, it had stuttering issues throughout the entire movie (basically, every 15 seconds the frame rate would stutter a little for about 2...

Can I play Google Play movies in another media player?

Hi everyone...

Just wondering if there is an easy way to access a list of Recently Watched titles through Kodi?
As much as I love the 'Netflix-esque" interface, I don't like that once I've watched something, the thumbnail/episode/file disappears from the Recently Added view, and the only way to get to it is to browse to the file location manually.

Sometimes my wife might want to watch something I have already watched, or I might want to rewatch something or put it on for someone else.

I have my Bluetooth earphones paired with U9-H with 007A firmware. When I turn my earphones on, everything is good-i hear the sound of good quality from earphones. But when I turn them off, i expect to bring sound back to TV loudspeakers. But instead sometimes there is no sound at all, sometimes sound is very crappy. Nothing helps: I tried to set audio output to HDMI instead of Auto e.t.c. The only thing that helps is restart of box. This is new problem-with firmware 006 this problem did not...

Neo U1 Settings Menu not responding

Hi,
I cannot seem to get into my setting menu anymore. Whenever I click on settings the screen just blinks for a split second and nothing happens. The unit also tends to slow down at times for no apparent reason. I restarted the unit a few times to check if that makes a difference. Still no change. The last thing I did was update Kodi to 17.4. Could this have caused the issue? Is anyone else experiencing a similar problem? Also, is there a way to hard reset the unit? I don't want to do this......

Z83-4 Pro: Failed to Reset PC

I've been trying to restore NEO Z83-4 Pro to factory settings, but going through the procedure to "Reset PC" in Windows 10 Pro, and the process starts fine, but I always end up with the error:

"There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made"

I've tried different methods to solve this on the Internet, but none worked.
Any idea, what may have gone wrong?

Problem with audio passthrough since recent update

Hello,

Really enjoying my U1. Audio passthrough for 7.1 worked great until I just updated to U1 MY47V.20170227. All stereo videos play well in XBMC 16.3 with good sound. 5.1 and 7.1 video plays well in XBMC 16.3 except sometimes sound is muted. It appears to happen always with .mkv files but some MP3 files will work intermittently. At times the MP3 files will play then make an awful screeching sound.

Anyone have the same experience? Anyone have any advice?

Audio drops

Hi,

does anyone else have the audio drops for passthrough audio, my seems to drop bits of the audio randomly when passing 5.1 or higher channels through my Denon, it only happened after firmware 003 and above,
