U1 and Libreelec
Hi all,
a little rant here about U1 and possibility of utilizing Libreelec for it (dont kill me for it, please![:)]( "Smile :)")
)
With launch of Wetek Hub i discovered it can work with Libreelec (not Openelec but variant).
It seems Libreelec is more frequently updated then Openelec and looking at the test review over at Kodi forum 24p playback is fine as well as HD audio bitstream.
Also HERE is a thread with up to date releases made specifically for S905...

is exFAT not supported???
Hi,
I'm trying to use my USB 2TB WD HDD (FORMATTED exFAT) .
But it looks like, that the new device (U9-H) does not support exFAT...
The HDD does not show up on FILE EXPL or KODI.
When I format the HDD in FAT32, it shows up.......
That would be worst!!!!!!!!!![:mad:]( "Mad :mad:")
I need a support of files >4GB on USB HDD.....
Can someone confirm that exFAT is working or not?

Need help with external hard disk - exFat
Hi guys,
I have my new Minix Neo U1 delivered yesterday and i am setting it up right now. First of all updated to the latest firmware (again and again till i have the latest one)
Right now my biggest problem is its not recognising my external hard disks.
I have 2 external hard disks (both 1.5 TB) which are partitioned to four exFAT drives. I cant change this to any other formats because i have a lot of data within these and i am using a MAC for my day to day activities (so no NTFS at all)....

Can not wake up u9h
Hi guys last week I bought minix neo u9h, it’s not my first minix android box (already had u1 and z64),I experienced the following issue, I can’t wake up the unit from “sleep mode”, (I have USB mouse Logitech),when I press the mouse button nothing happens (with previous boxes, I have never had such issue).
I did manufacture’s reset, but nothing happened. The box is updated. Any help is going to be appropriated.

U9-H stuck on "Android is starting" screen. Won't boot up.
Please help. I restarted my U9-H and now it's stuck on the "Android is starting ... Starting apps" screen. It was stuck for over an hour. Everything was working fine prior to the Restart. So I disconnected the power cord, waited 30 seconds, plugged back in, powered back on - but no change, it gets to that screen and just stops. I don't know what to do.
I have FW006.
I do not have adoptive storage.
Note: The only things I did today was resolve my Netflix issue by installing the Netflix_HD apk....

Always try the X8H-Series build first, if your X8-HP gives you trouble with wifi or lan, try the X8HP-Gen1 build
If you need to activate the "multiboot", make a "boot" folder on the root of the SD card and copy http://www.mediafire.com/file/t1ikkmfk5e05umb/boot.scr in this folder.

Sorry in advance if I posted this in the wrong section.
I noticed that when I play movies from terrarium tv nearly all shows play with mxplayer are hw+. The issue is when mxplayer decodes the software it has bad frame drops. If I select just HW it says its not supported, this means I cannot use the stock video player to adapt the refresh rate. Am I missing something? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

PLEX on Minix x8H
I have been using PLEX on my PC and client on Smart TV for couple of years by now and have been very happy with its UI, quality and simplicity. Now, I am wondering if anyone has already installed PLEX for Android version on our Minix box and what is the experience telling you to? is it any good ? The reason I ask, is that this version of Plex is not Free, and although 5 bucks is not that much money, still before buying it I would like to see any opinions.

Problem watching 4K movies via Minix X8H plus and Kodi 16
Hello,
I have configured my Minix's HDMI output to 4k2k-30hz and when I try to play
4K movies in Kodi, the movie is in bad quality and divided into squares all over the screen.
Anyone else had the same issue? Any ideas how to resolve it?

skype on u9 h
I am having problems with skype on my u9.
Box is on latest software. I have uninstalled skype and re installed latest version on play store.
The problem is that my webcam logitech C 270 (previously used on my U1) seems to be working ok but when I connect to other party on skype it seems to turn my picture off but the sound stay ok off.
I can still see and hear the person I connected to but they cannot see me while still listen to my voice.
I have try to find out solution over these last couple...

I apologise in advance if this has been queried before but I am struggling to find a solution.
Prior to upgrading the firmware on my Minix Neo X8-H Plus to android 5.1, nextflix worked fine.
Since updating the box, netflix is no longer in the play store. I updated the box manually and flashed the new firmware to do this, stupidly I forgot the flash would delete everything.

I wanted to update it directly in firmware version 9 20160324 with the tool USB_Burning_Tool (2.0.6) provided, but this resulted in an error "0x30403003 UBOOT / Partition system / Download buffer / Data tranfer error " after 4~5 minutes...

Kodi build wont stay/reverts to all apps
So Ive had the U1 for about a month, I've tried a couple of different Kodi builds installed from various repositories. I find many of the builds are glitchy/buffer/timeout/no source, so thats been a tad frustrating.
