Netflix TV App, By Pass methods ?

Is there Any way we could bypass the settings within our minix boxes to enable the "Netflix android TV app" to install on our minix boxes without showing incompatibility. Unfortunately, minix is not considered as an android tv by Netflix, however, can we bypass this in order to gain compatibility to use on the Netflix TV app as opposed to the standard mobile app on our app stores, it's just more convenient and user-friendly especially when using our neo remote controls.

No image from box to tv

Hi Everyone

I picked up my u9h on the weekend plugged it loaded terrarium tv watched a few movies also up dated the box when I first un boxed it. Everything worked perfect on a Samsung smart tv and on a older one.

just got home from the weekend and set it up on my tv and no screen, box has the blue light indicating its on and set up the same as before but using a 8 year old plasma tv now only difference.

I unplugged the hdmi that connects the cable box and the tv and put it to the u9h so...

Hi, I was wondering what specific WiFi external Antenna Connector the Minix Neo U9-H uses so I can buy a stronger Antenna for it.

like for example a RP-SMA Male connector and does the WiFi external Antenna have to be opposite for example a RP-SMA Female connector

Many users asked me to create a thread where to share custom updates for ours minix devices. I'll post here my packages.

You don't need cwm or custom recovery. You can install them from MINIX stock rom/recovery. All the updates should work on many rk devices (rk29sdk,rk30sdk,rk31sdk).

To install my updates simply download the needed file into the root of internal or external SD and rename it...

I have MiniX U1 for a month now. I learn new features most days ;). My go to Mvi streamer is ShowBox which offers a lot of movie title choices, shows etc. My control device is a Logitec K400 wireless keyboard and touchpad. However, the android video player (default) pre-installed on the MiniX is a cause of frustration as whilst a movie is streaming all you can do is pause, FF or rewind. You cannot adjust volume from within the player, you cannot exit the player half-way , paused and come back...

This is a copy of the updated official WinPE rescue discs for MINIX Z83-4.

I decided to share these files, since downloading it from MINIX ftp is at very slow speed.
I hope the administration will not oppose posting of these materials. If it violates the rules, please forgive and remove my post.

(!) Attention, the use of these disks removes all data on the EMMC device, as the disk is re-partitioned. This process starts immediately when you boot from a WinPE disk....

Like U1, Libreelec V8 is coming with Amlogic S912 support (y)
It's Kodi 17 based and promise smoothness for everything.

It's a early beta version yet with lot of bugs or missing things but will evolve quickly.

Where can I find a user manual (electronic/pdf) for my new
MINIX NEO Z83-4 with Windows 10 PRO

Is the pinhole on the side near the antenna a reset button?

I got it all working fine, Windows updated fine with no problems.

Today (about 2 weeks later) this morning there was a power failure.
Now it logs into the network (I can see it on the network with another computer) but I get nothing on my monitor/screen.

Can't wake X8-H Plus with tv remote (CEC?)

Hello! I'm new to the forum. Minix 8X-H Plus is my first Android/Kodi/XBMC-experience, so sorry if some of this seems trivial. I've searched the forum for a solution, but haven't found one.

My problem is that when I turn my tv on, the Minix does not resume from suspend.

The Minix is running Lollipop RC2. My tv is a Panasonic P42 P42G20E. The Panasonic remote works fine with the Minix, so CEC is working properly ... I guess?

When I power off on the Panasonic remote, the tv powers off...

Does anyone have the X5-i Firmware?

im getting in trouble flashing thefirmware to my X5, i flash the official firmware provided here,(frebuary 250), but it only get stuck on logo, i think my model is X5-i, but i dont know it only says "Model X5 ver B2"
with fccID WMFNEOX5.
Any help are welcome and thanked.

Audio drops

Hi,

does anyone else have the audio drops for passthrough audio, my seems to drop bits of the audio randomly when passing 5.1 or higher channels through my Denon, it only happened after firmware 003 and above,

Hey all... Been a awhile since I did a ROM [​IMG]

This is for the Minix NEO-X8H (not the X8H-Plus).

PLEASE NOTE:
After first boot let the box settle down for about 1 minute. Then reboot it using the power menu. Do not try to use the box without this reboot as there "can" be some stability problems.
I tried to solve this problem but it has to do with the building of the dalvik cache in /data that is built on first boot after a...
