Bluetooth Keyboard won't wake up Z83-4

Bluetooth connected keyboard won't wake up computer - my computer monitor wakes up, but only a black screen is noted. I'm using this for a business computer. If I unhook the HDMI cable OR restart the computer all is fine. Keyboard clicks or mouse clicks do nothing. All "power options" were turned to NEVER sleep and NEVER turn off screen in an attempt to avoid this- I desperately need a solution- I own 23 of these in a HOSPITAL now and we will need to return all!!

Windows 10 version purchased...

Installer Batocera(recalbox) en dur

Bonjours, cela fait plusieurs jours que j'essaie d'installer Batocera sur le disque interne. Sans grand succès.

En premier lieu, j'ai réussi à booter sur la clé USB.
Ensuite j'ai essayé d'installer Batocera mais impossible.

J'ai ensuite installer Ubuntu Alain place de Windows 10. Pas de problème, l'installation c'est bien passé. Mais pas de son, ni de wifi.

À partir de ce moment là. Du fait que Ubuntu était installé. J'ai pu booter sur un liveusb de Ubuntu et avec Etcher, installer Batocera...

Random Video dropout with Audio still playing

Hi, whether watching a Movie or a Tv show in Kodi 17.1 the video will randomly drop out (blue screen) and the audio will keep playing. It seems to be triggered by a slight Audio hiccup or dropout right before the video drops out. To get the video back I need to switch my Av receiver off then back on and it may not happen again for the next 2 hours or so but it happens quite frequently. Is anyone else experiencing this? This never happened in Passthrough with the two Minix Neo U1's with one...

XBMC 15.3 or 16.3?

I am using Minix Neo U1. It shows XBMC 15.3. There is no option in XBMC to check for upgrades (or I could not find one). I saw somewhere in this forum people talking about XBMC 16.3
Q1 - How do I know which version is best for me? Though presently I am not having any issues with 15.3 but do I have to upgrade?

Q2 - How do I upgrade my XBMC to 16.3?

NEO A2 Lite & Amazon Fire Box

OK, so I have a new NEO A2 Lite, I'm trying to connect it to an Amazon Fire Box - Nothing... surely this should be simple..? Receiver dongle in USB port, re booted box, do you need to pair remote in settings, if so it cant find remote...
So what am I not doing, or is it bust.

4k resolution reverts back to 1080p

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem. I set the resolution on the U9 to 4k for my 4k tv and its ok but the problem arises when I switch my receiver to another input and then back to the minix, it reverts back to 1080p.

Hello Minix Forum,

Fresh owner of the NEO U1 here.
I have little problem using SMB.

I have a 500GB HDD connected to the NEO U1, and the SAMBA Server option turned on.
I can access the NEO U1 (and the connected HDD) from my Windows PC remotely with no problems.

The problem comes with moving files (from PC to HDD) that are above (roughly) 2GB.
When I do this, I get prompted with a 'Do you want to overwrite this file?'.
Weird because the file is not in the HDD, but then I see that in the...

A simple hack to enable all available Wi-Fi channels

Dear all Z83-4 users,

By default, Broadcom has hidden some of the available Wi-Fi channels,
by replacing the nvram file attached in this thread, it will unlock them and make them all available for use.

To do so, download the attached 4356r6nvram,txt file,
then put it to C:\Windows\System32\drivers

Replace the file in the destination, restart the system, done.

This will enable:
2.4GHz channels: 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13
5GHz channels:...

Boa noite. Comprei Minix X6 para poder ver o MEO go mas sempre que seleciono um canal, funciona por 2min e depois para a imagem e som. Se voltar a selecionar um canal volta a dar durante 2 min. O tempo é sempre o mesmo. Alguém pode ajudar?

Issues on U9H after auto upgrade

Today i switches my u9h off/on (which i never do normally). When back on, it seemed to do some upgrade and it rebooted cpl times. It is now on FW006.
Since this event, some apps dont respond to mouse anymore (ookla speedtest) or have internet connectivity issues (netflix).
Other apps (youtube, kodi) appear to be working fine
Any ideas wots going on and how to fix?

solved: Micro SD Card (TF card) Won't "click"

Hi,
When I insert a micro SD card into the TF card slot with the contacts in the upright orientation the card will not positively lock, there is no "click". If I hold the card in place Windows 10 will detect it, however the moment I remove my finger from the card it ejects due to the spring loaded nature of the mechanism. Oddly, with the card inserted label-side up one can insert it and have it "click" or lock into place.

Has anyone else experienced this issue ?

It is possible to install windows creator update

I use a NEO Z83-4 with latest bios 1.6.
When I started the windows 10 assistant to update to the windows creator update,
after a while I received an error code:
0xc1900200


I've been googling it and found a resolution to it.
The first reserved system partition is actually too small and prevents the win update.

The idea is to enlarge it to around 500 MB instead of 100 MB.

There is a free version of a partition tool to make the space:

Following my previous review, thought it would be beneficial to start highlighting potential issues in new threads, rather than wrapping them up in the product announcement discussion...

I had mentioned that I'd installed Sky Go, but not configured it, well bad news I'm afraid guys :(

The latest APK from the Playstore appears not to work, I'm receiving an error stating 'Sky Go does not support HDMI'

Thought it might've been related to enabling fake Wi-Fi switch but that wasn't the case

NEO Z-64 no more updates since android 4.4

Android 4.4 was released in October 2013, i bought my Z-64-A late 2016 and never had available updates since then.

Guys, 40$ low-end china boxes have more support and features then minix android boxes, i know that there's other threads asking for updates but this one is just to make a complaint because it's very bad paying 160$ for a top Android box that dont get's updates, in a year, its obsolete unless i put windows and try to make something of it and...

U1 won't boot up. LED2 Blinking

Hi,

Got a bricked U1 from a friend. I won't boot up.

Tried to reflash the firmware, but couldn't enter recovery mode.

I opened up the device, and saw that LED2 (next to the power button) is blinking - 1 long blink and 8 short blinks.

Anything? Anyone?
