Portuguese Tv Vodafone app

Caros amigos, não consigo visualizar a programação da Vodafone, a linha de apoio deles sugere instalar uma versão mais antiga da app que atualmente está na versão 3.3.6 já instalei as 5 e a 4 mas sem sucesso.

Alguém tem alguma sugestão?

Keep grandkids out of settings

Hello, this is my first post to the forum.
I plan to purchase my U9-H soon. I have 4 grandkids that will have access to watching content on the device.
They MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO CHANGE ANY SETTINGS!!

Is there a link or HOWTO someone could point me to on how to have pin access so that I am the only one who can change anything?

HDD reading issue

Hey guys. I'm having trouble with the device reading my HDD. I have the latest firmware, it's the correct format, it works perfectly on my pc and PS4. I have also tried doing the factory reset.

So sometimes the device reads the HDD and sometimes it doesn't but more often than not it doesn't read it and I either have restart multiple times or turn the device off and on a few times before it can read it.

Any suggestions as to what is going on?

Z83-4 wont come out of black screen - even after restart

I could not find a solution to my problem by searching.

I have a Z83-4 running Windows 10 which is all factory hooked up to an LG TV via HDMI.

A few days ago it started flashing static and black screens back and forth when it would come out of sleep mode. This would eventually go away and the normal screen would pop up.

Today it was doing that then finally it got stuck on a black screen.

I powered down and restarted, tried the pinhole reset, disconnected power cords and HDMI, and I can't...

SD Card Usage?

Hello all,

While I am very familiar with SD card storage on Android phones(LG V30 currently) I am wondering what it would be used for on the U9-H. Since we have 16 gig of OS storage does everyone just install apps on the 16 gig partition and drop any data on the SD card?

Hi all,

Just bought me the NEO U9-H, and of course some questions came up.

- Is it normal that when I set the resolution to 4k2k60, that the android desktop is not showing this resolution? Checked it on my PC monitor (UHD) and my panasonic 4K tv and the box seems to output 3840*2160@60Hz. When I set a 4K test image as my desktop wallpaper it is not displayed correctly (same view on 4K2K60 as on 1080p60, makes no difference what i see. I see no seperate lines where I am supposed to).

Must i download & install Minix LAST update drivers or can i use Snappy Driver Installer ?
I mean Windows drivers (Sound card driver , video card driver and so on) and not Minix firmware

This used to be there on previous FW006. I've attached my logs.

Issue over HDMI and using Samsung K950 Atmos soundbar connected in ARC.

Settings are all untouched.

Things Ive tried:

complete firmware reset(against my will)
reinstall kodi 17.6 completely
clear cache on kodi
kodi 17.3 shows the settings as needed but actual passthrough fails
unplugged everything for 24hours
multiple skins

I've been playing around with LibreELEC S912 development on the U9 and went to "reboot to internal", which is normally reliable and all I could get was a black picture video output from the U9 when trying to boot into Android from that point onwards.

I've seen this before when Android devices with HDCP - copy protection - where the Keys get corrupted and then you can get no video & sound output out of the device at all.

Anyway this is the quick fix recovery method (should work on all AML...

would it be possible to clone the mane system drive to a larger hard drive and always have the z83-4 boot from that harddrive at start up? your help with this would be most welcome kind regards trey.

KB4088776 won't install on Windows Fall Update 1706

Hi,

Not sure if this is a typical windows issue or something more related to the z83-4 but the above KB won't install on Windows 1706. Wondering if others that have installed the fall update are having same issue and if there's a work around for it?

I've run the trouble shooter and it's identified some problem with the update database but can't fix it. I've also tried to manually install the update and it said it was installed but doesn't show under the installed updates.

A3 remote, nothing works but the power button.

Hi,

So I just purchased another minix U9 box for my dad which also came with a minix A3 remote, I've followed the pairing instructions to the letter, the led on the remote has flashed three times to indicate successful pairing but the only thing that works on this remote is the power button. I've re-paired so many times I've lost count, tried all three usb ports on the U9 and all the ports on my usb hub all with the same results, only the power button works. The usb dongle for my logitech k400...

A3 remote, nothing works but the power button.

Plex not working on Neo U1

Hello

For some reason the latest version of Plex is not working anymore on my Neo U1. It keeps on saying that it has lost the connection to the server????? This is really odd!

I have tried Plex on my other Minix, the U9H and it is totally fine!

Is there something wrong in the way the firmware has been updating on the Neo U1 that will prevent Plex to work properly??? I have done a factory restore as well of the whole box thinking that something might have been corrupted but no luck!!!!!!

Live TV on Minix

Hello all,

I am curious if any of the U9H users are watching live TV streams on it from an IPTV provider. If yes are you doing it via the following:

1) Android APK
2) Kodi Add-on

I am having some issues getting the video to load when using Kodi. I get a black screen with normal audio. Not sure how to tshoot this, so I am hoping the community can let me know how they are doing it.

U9-H for Gaming

Hey Guys. I have a U9-H and love it. Mainly its used for kodi and to play a few games. Recently I've be playing around with it to run emulators to play my old games on the TV instead of my phone or tablet.
I have a 5tb HD connected that has all my movies and emulator games stored on in. I also chosen adaptive storage as with kodi and my apps as the 16gb memory ran out in no time so using a class 10 u1 64gb msd to give me room to breathe.
I've noticed that older gaming systems & roms run fine,...

SOLVED - Samba Share Not Working

I recently updated my box to the latest firmware that includes the built-in samba server. When I go into the settings to enable the feature I cannot see my box on my Windows machine. I have network discovery enabled and my box has never been previously rooted in any way. Can anyone help me get this working?

Hello.

I've been using my android box for about 6 months now without any issues.

However, recently I've started noticing something was wrong.

Over the past week I've used the box at night to watch some netflix. And after a while, my TV would simply go black and show the warning "no signal".

I checked the box and it simply went off and I couldn't turn it back on.

A few days later I tried again and it turned on. But after 20 mins running it went off again and I couldn't turn it back on.

I’ve tried searching for over an hour for any information on this topic but I can’t find anything and I also can’t seem to find a way to word my problem that doesn’t just tell me how to restart or reset my minix to factory settings. B.B. The problem is this,
