Plex not working on Neo U1

Hello

For some reason the latest version of Plex is not working anymore on my Neo U1. It keeps on saying that it has lost the connection to the server????? This is really odd!

I have tried Plex on my other Minix, the U9H and it is totally fine!

Is there something wrong in the way the firmware has been updating on the Neo U1 that will prevent Plex to work properly??? I have done a factory restore as well of the whole box thinking that something might have been corrupted but no luck!!!!!!

Stuck on green power light

I haven't used my box for a few months. Now when I try to turn it on I only get a green light on the box with no display. I have tried unplugging and using the reset button and also opening the box and disconnecting the CMOS battery but it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Z83-4 Got a light Green Light on the Box

Hi,
On one of our Minix Z83-4 I have a green light on (Should turn on Blue) and still there is a unplug the CMOS battery or press the Reset Button in the pin hole. I wait a night long to see if the green light should turn blue, was not.

Is there any way to fix this on my side?

Hello all.

I cannot get pass through to work. So DD, DTS, and so on doesn't work. It works flawlessly on spmc, but the addons are empty, because it's an old version. Can anyone post their settings that do work?

Wake up without Airmouse "Fly mode should off"

Hi there,

is it possible on A2 mouse settings :

When i start my A2 it should not start my airmouse.

The airmouse should only start by pushingh the point/arrow botton.

I know a trick to deactivate the airmouse by pushing at first the point/arrow botton so I can use the A2 as

normaly remote.So it must be a way to reversed?

New question for the experts here: I have a 4GB external HD with some movies/music but with plenty of free space. Can I connect it to my MINIX U9 and use a torrent client to download more music/movies (no copyright infringements) ?
If so, which torrent client do you recommend for the MINIX NEO U9-H ? Would be nice if it can be controlled remotely on my Android phone or laptop.
Is there any problems with leaving the MINIX permanently switched on?

My Neo Z64A (20150930) can't access CH Play(v. 8.5.39) now? I removed update &back to default ver. 5.1.11. But some app. could't play on this? It has failed again after update new ver. of CH play & Google play service.

Streaming UHD stutters

Streaming UHD content is not possible on the Minix U9.

I have a Zyxell 540 NAS with a gigabit wired ethernet connection to the U9.

All my UHD content won't play smooth. I Bought this device to watch UHD content.

Anyone with sugestions how to fix?

SMBv2 not supported by Minix U1 / XBMC 16.3 Beta?

I've a Synology DS218+, a very good and recent NAS, it allows to share folders on the net choosing the SMB min/max allowed version from v1 to v3.

SMBv1 is notoriously insecure so I've tried to switch the minimum allowed version to SMBv2 instead of SMBv1.

Unfortunately my Minix U1 with latest firmware and latest XBMC 16.3 Beta couldn't anymore access the previously configured network folders so I had to revert the min allowed version to SMBv1 on the NAS.

I've checked the Minix XBMC 16.3...

SMBv2 not supported by Minix U1 / XBMC 16.3 Beta?

Fullscreen videos in chrome turn green and freeze up

Hi, this is an old problem that never got fixed and now it got worse. When watching a video in chrome, going fullscreen will turn the video background green and make it freeze up. Last year the work-around was uninstalling and blocking the Chrome updates. Almost six months later and the problem is back. The work-around is not helping anymore and updating the android device and chrome is also not working. Is there any fix out there i can try before I throw away this device?

Hide status bar doesn't work in last firmware

Hi, after upgrading to last firmware (8) the status bar is always up even if i've checked the box in advance setting "hide status bar". Not a big deal but can be fixed? No problem with the previuos firmwares

Neo N42C-4 Display Port Stopped Working HDMI Works

Mini Display Port on NEO N42C-4 stopped working switched to HDMI and that works. Any solutions to fix Mini Port..... Have tried other known good cables and that didn't correct the issue. Only the HDMI gives video output. Driver????? I checked cables and windows update.....

H96pro+ and Neo A2 Lite

I just bough an A2 Lite and some leys are not working with my H96pro+ box. I was told that the keys can be remmaped but i dont know how I can do this. My h96 is rooted and the leys that are not working are the Recent Apps, sleep/wake, and the All Apps key.

Can some please help me out.

Can't get TV sound passed back to U1

The setup is an LG 4K TV connected from its HDMI ARC to the Minix U1 HDMI.
TV is also connected to a regular aerial for OTA digital / analogue TV reception.
The U1 is connected from it's headphone socket to a Quad pre-amp, power amp and speakers (Tannoy Berkeleys so the neighbours can enjoy as well!).
U1 is connected to house LAN, as is the TV.
(My AV receiver is duff so can't use that).

If I stream video / music through KODI or XMBC on the U1 it outputs the audio fine via the headphone...

Can't get TV sound passed back to U1
