Hello, a colleague is having an issue with the display of a Webpage in a TV. He is showcasing a page using full screen mode of Mozilla but an annoying white-bar keeps appearing on top of the browser. Anyone faced the same issue?

Latest firmware
I have a unit that came with a firmware with build date of Dec 10. It did find an OTA update with build date of Dec. 26, but nothing newer than that. In @robertojorge 's YouTube review, I see that his unit has a firmware with build date of Feb 16. Is that the latest firmware? When will it be made available for download or for OTA update?

HDR setting
Hello,
Today I received the U9-H. The first thing I wanted to test where the 4K HDR video's. Until now it is a big dissapointment.
My setup
Samsung 55inch 4k HDR TV --> Connected with the minix using the HDMI cable who was in the bundle --> Enabled HDR setting in Android.
When I watch a normal Blu-Ray movie with the above setting everything is fine. But when I start a HDR movie it is totally rubbish. Way too much brightness, no detail (also the deatil in the GUI is gone), the black is...

I was beeing testing The Media Center APP and activating the DLNA on the app and in the setting of my router but I cannot see the directory of my HD.

Newbie - Video stuttering/juddering in Showbox
Hi all,
I'm new to android boxes, after a lot of research decided on a U1.
I have the UI plugged in via HDMI to my Sony TV (46W5500). I have it plugged into my modem via ethernet. I have the latest U1 firmware.
When I view movies in Showbox there is a slight intermittent stuttering/juddering when the camera pans or when something moves across the screen. I have read some posts which mention stuttering, they talk about screen resolution, I checked the settings and the U1 is set to 1080/60hz...

NEO z64 no dispaly, can't detect HDMI
Hello,
My NEO Z64 would not display after turning on.
I can still see the blue light after pressing the power button, but nothing shows up on the screen, not even the MINIX welcome screen. I tried 3 different HDMI cables and not luck. Also tried resetting the Minix by pressing the little hole at the back of the case - still no luck getting anything on the screen.
Does anybody know how to resolve this problem?

U1 and Libreelec
Hi all,
a little rant here about U1 and possibility of utilizing Libreelec for it (dont kill me for it, please![:)]( "Smile :)")
)
With launch of Wetek Hub i discovered it can work with Libreelec (not Openelec but variant).
It seems Libreelec is more frequently updated then Openelec and looking at the test review over at Kodi forum 24p playback is fine as well as HD audio bitstream.
Also HERE is a thread with up to date releases made specifically for S905...

Recently I bought a second hand Minix Neo X8-H. I was really pleased with my purchase, because the Tv Box works flawlessly, very fast, opens everything and all. I also installed Kingroot and went ahead and Rooted it. Installed all my apps and set the device according to my needs.
However I've never had a Tv box before and wanted to know about all the fuss about Kodi. All talking and very good instructions...

Dear all X6, X8/X8-Plus/X8-H/X8-H-Plus users,
To flash the image firmware, you need to:
1.) Download the .img firmware package;
2.) Extract it;
3.) Install the Windows USB flash tool, downloading from:
http://minix.com.hk/downfile/USB_Burning_Tool_v2.0.4.3_user.rar
Choose "Install anyway" when system prompts for driver installation, then open the application, and choose English (picture 1 & 2);

I see the question asked a lot about whether these models will get a Lollipop update (mainly for Kodi 17 needs).
I have talked to John so I can give you guys an answer and unfortunately it is no.
As some of you are aware AMLogic provide the SDK (Software development kit) to MINIX and they make the firmware for the boxes from that.
Unfortunately AMLogic do not provide a Lollipop SDK for the S802 chipsets used in these models.
Which means it's literally impossible for MINIX to make a...

We have been receiving a few negative comments mentioning that the mini DP cannot be converted to HDMI as we have stated that on our product description and giftbox.
In fact the mini DP output can be converted to HDMI/DVI output, however to do that you need an active mini DP to HDMI/DVI adapter for which many of those adapters on the market are NOT.
That's why we are saying that it's not supported for safety reason - We don't want users spending...
