Dear all,

We have just released the official 013 firmware for NEO U1: FW013 (20170629).

Users with FW012 may directly update to FW013 by OTA update via MINIX OTA app. (Size: 351.85MB)

Hi everybody.

I hope someone can help me.

Just to point that I am average user with average technical knowledge and not a guru, so hopefully I can get some straight forward answer.

Recently I bought minix Neo U9-H. I connected to my modem with LAN cable. My PC is also connected to modem with LAN cable. I also connected minix on WiFi network. I have external USB storage that I connected to my minix. Minix recognized it as a SD card and I can access it from minix.

Hey,

I bought a new Minix 2 days ago. Opened up the box, plugged it in, and for the past 2 days have been spending countless hours reading forums and trying to figure out how the heck to get the SD card and reader to work. i have tried putting a 128GB SD card in the slot, which has been malfunctioning since the second i started using the Minix. Good day all. I recently purchased my first media player the Minix U1. At first I wasn't very impressed but I got it working fine now except I can't get our local Satellite provider's Apps through which you can view their live Tv and Sport to work on the U1. The Apps work fine on my Galaxy S6 which also runs Android Lollipop 5.1. It also doesn't allow the Miracast to send the images to my U1 but all other Apps does allow. U9 - Bluetooth mouse "unpairs"

Hey,
I'm liking the box but I'm struggling with my microsoft bluetooth mouse..

Essentially, I can pair both devices and it works flawlessly though the moment I turn any of them off and back on they become unpaired again. I have to then re-pair them again creating a new bluetooth profile device (ironically, with the same name). I had at some point 11-12 profiles with the same name..

It seems like something is being reset when they disconnect from each other..

Do you have any clues how I...

We're releasing this beta Android Lollipop firmware based on the last SDK released by Amlogic,

Can I please have a link to download the minix skin prior to the one with the weather ?
Apart from that change the ota update seems fine .
I just don't find the weather and f/c looks part of the skin , it looks pretty amateur to me , sorry .

Even though I am a noobie with regards to media boxes, I have been reading through numerous posts regarding getting Netflix to work on my new U9-h, that I just installed in my bedroom non-smart TV.

I have tried installing numerous .APK files - different versions. Making sure to uninstall each time before install.
I have located the liboemcrypto.so file, but I can't rename or delete it. I only get the option to open it, and to select the program to open it with?

A2 Lite - Only on/off button works

Hi all,

I've had the Neo X8-H Plus that came with an A2 Lite remote. I bought it in November 2015, it works great cuz i only use it for XBMC for my kids.

For some reason today the remote stopped working, the only button that works is the on/off button to put the device to sleep and wake it up, other then that, no more buttons work.

I tried changing the usb dongle to the other usb plugs, still the same, on/off button works but nothing else.

I tried multiple new batteries, same results.

Hi all,
I got 3 issues:
1) i get a message: "HDMI cable may be fauly. Try to get a less than 5 meters long cable". Problem is, My screen is flickering, and I must select 720p resolution in order to workaround that.
I might add that this is a brand new 2 meters long cable.
2) Plex doesn't work if I set audio to 5.1 cgannels. I get a generic: "server error" message.
3)I try to update firmware version to p_200_2G-userdebug 5.1.1 LMY47V 20151230 release-keys
And I get network connection failed,...

Plex video playback quality is poor on my U9-H compared to my Roku 3, which is excellent. Mp4's are jittery & not smooth. (btw, Kodi 17.3 video playback with U9-H is very good). Tired of changing Plex app settings. Nothing helps.
  • Firmware is current FW004 (cannot update to FW005 - made separate post for that issue).
  • Plex app installed from Google Play Store.
