request: minix xbmc 16 with alternative installation path?

Hi,

i just posted a similar idea in FW013-thread for the minix U1 (thats why I hav eto apologize first), but it's more a request for xbmc-development:

Could you please provide the last minix-xbmc 16.3 beta as an alternative installation with a different path as the new minix xbmc 17 alpha?

Why am I asking: of course I would like to follow the minix xbmc 17 development. But the 16.3 is very stable and is the mainly used mediacenter for the whole family. Thats why I would like to have...

Bluetooth speakers, Compatible APK´s

Minix U1, can this connect to bluetooth speakers and headphones, also would these apk´s be compatible, stellarium mobile, dentex youtube downloader, Noroot firewall.

There are a few other apk´s I would be interested in, but the one´s above are essential, need to download my relaxation video´s and play them via bluetooth speakers etc. Stellarium would be great if it worked, I have all apk´s backed up on dropbox, many thanks.

I am getting smaller display at the top left corner after recent software update.
I have replaced with two new good quality HDMI cables with no joy,I have minix X8 H plus which has been tested with the same HDMI cable and it was ok but my new minix U9H display on LG TV showing a smaller display at the left top corner after recent software update which automatically downloaded. I did not have any SD card or hard drive attached during update.
The only fix is to reboot the box and leave my TV on...

Hi all, please can you experienced guys help me:

Minix X8-H Plus, with latest firmware (KOT49H.20160829 release-keys), all software updates have been done, connected via HDMI to a DENON AVR-X520BT receiver.

Regardless of software used (KODI, VLC, Google Play Music, Netflix, Youtube) there is an audio interruption that occurs every few minutes (~10 min but it's variable and sometimes can happen in quick succession). I've searched the forum here and have tried all the things suggested for...

am thinking of replacing my x8h+ with the new z83-4// my question is can libreelec be installed on this machine to replace the windows OS... i have read that only uefi 32 bit is available for the Atom X5-Z8300. if anyone knows about this can you please enlighten me.

Z83-4 black screen [virtual extended display]

hi ,
I gust got my new minix z83-4 and when I try to turn it on from sleep mode after a couple of hours of not using it. I get a black screen.
The only thing that help is to unplug the power and plug it back
Is there any solution?

Solution provided by Intel:
1.) Download the attached .zip file
2.) Extract it to Desktop
3.) Right click on the .bat file to Run as administrator (JUST NEED TO DO THIS ONCE)
4.) Reboot the machine
5.) No more annoying virtual...

HBO Spain not working

The page in app displays ok but whenever I want to play any video turns up a message saying "An error ocurred, the service might be temporary unavailable".

In my old Minix X8-H worked fine. Its not app fault because is working in other device.
Any idea?

if I have FW009 currently can I jump straight to FW013, and thereby apply all bug fixes in the firmwares between, or do I have to install them one by one?

My device is rooted, so i don't receive OTA.

Hi Guys. I was recently trying to set up Bluetooth headphones and I was playing around with settings trying to get them to work but it would seem I've done something wrong as I'm getting no sound for any 1080 streams both in Kodi and Apks. Would appreciate if someone could tell me what my audio settings should be and playback settings or any other setting I may have hit. Thank you.

How to flash firmware image (X6, X8 series)

Dear all X6, X8/X8-Plus/X8-H/X8-H-Plus users,

To flash the image firmware, you need to:

1.) Download the .img firmware package;
2.) Extract it;
3.) Install the Windows USB flash tool, downloading from:
http://minix.com.hk/downfile/USB_Burning_Tool_v2.0.4.3_user.rar
Choose "Install anyway" when system prompts for driver installation, then open the application, and choose English (picture 1 & 2);

I have bad luck or this device is a big sh...?
TThe first of all the gyro of air mouse A3 Does not work in games where he should work. I try everything...but wont work.
In second my neo u9-h...constantly reboot... after install a few apps or games from google play. It
It happened with some launchers like TSF and outhers and happen to with remoter pro and a few games. What is happening? I have already installed the latest firmware...

My TV is a Philips 32pfl7403d.
I tried different resolutions and activate/disactivate RGB option.

Z83-4 Windows 10 drivers

Hi All!

after clean re-install Windows 10 cannot find some drivers - audio and network among them (see screenshot). I could not find any link in Minix page to download drivers from. Does somebody know where to find them? Thank you in advance!

I used a fresh install of windows latest 1703 build with no drivers and am having some issues. I downloaded the driver package that ken linked and manually installed most of the drivers already but the display drivers were not included in the package because windows was suppose to install them or something. Anyway, the display adapter does not show up in device manager at all. When I right click on the desktop and go through display settings to look at the display adapter properties, it just...
