Kodi 17.6, Freezing, Out of Sync, Stuttering

I think this might be a Minix issue as the movies play perfectly on my Mac Mini using Kodi 17.6.

Issue:
Kodi works perfectly for 90% of my movies, I've come across a few movies that wont play correctly.

These movies will start playing and then freeze, go out of sync or stutter at a random point through the movie.
However, if you press "skip" even once it will cause the above mentioned issues instantly.

I'm not using other devices on the output, just have the HDMI output going into the TV....

Slow download speed

Hi There,
I am wondering why my neo u9h.
Shows slow download speed compare ro my cell phone or pc.
I have 500 Mbps Rogers internet.
When i tried speed check I got almost 500 Mbps on phone, tab and pc but not on minix.
I try both Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi
Never gose more then 43 mbps on minix.
Here is my build..
U9-H-FW007A20171020.
Please advise how to fix or this is the way spouse to be.

Booting from an external SSD?

Hi, i just received the minix n42c-4. I would like to know if it's possible to boot from an external SSD via USB- port. I bought the adapter but in the bios I can't select it as a boot option. Thanks

I own a Minix Neo U9-H and for some reason starting the last few weeks I am not able to stream any content from the application HBO Now or HBO Go. I can login fine but when trying to stream any content I am getting the following message: "Can´t Play Video - We´re having trouble playing this video. Please try again later"

Hey all... Been a awhile since I did a ROM [​IMG]

PLEASE NOTE:
After first boot let the box settle down for about 1 minute. Then reboot it using the power menu. Do not try to use the box without this reboot as there "can" be some stability problems.

Hey guys, I'm considering upgrading to a U9-H from my old X8-H Plus and I thought unlike last time I should probably ask a couple things first.

Does this model support multiple user accounts out of the box? Last time I just assumed the X8 did (because the android version was high enough to) but it didn't, so I had to get an xposed repo to do it for me. That worked but it's fairly finicky and you can never tell how it's going to perform on a new device.

I have a newly purchased U9-H on its way to me, but before it arrives, I thought I'd poll the knowledgeable people of this forum to see what apps they consider to be the most essential, or the ones they use the most frequently.

I'm not talking so much about service provider apps (like Hulu, or other legal/illegal tv and movie streaming services) but more about apps that make your experience of the U9-H that much better, faster, more convenient and powerful.

Hello, i have one of your devices and i just changed my Ethernet cables to a cat 6. I have perfect internet from my router and all other devices work just fine except my minix box. I went into settings and checked my network connection and it says its connected but i cant search the internet or go on google play. I did a factory reset but it didnt fix anything. Hi Everyone. Has anyone here had any luck with using the Advanced Settings for the thumbnails as mention in the subject line. In the past for both my Neo U1's and even a couple of old MyGica's I had always put a 32 gb Sd card in the box and written an Advanced Settings file which I placed in my Userdata folder and they have always worked like a charm saving all the Thumbnails to the External SD card and not the Internal Card. Streaming service not working after update to firmware 009

Hi,
I am unable to use a a specific streaming service from Danish TV broadcaster "Yousee". The app seems to crash every time I try to run it, after updating my Minix NEO X8-H to firmware 009 (latest). I see it try to load the app, and after 2 seconds it just opens the start screen for the Minix.

I do not know which Minix firmware build I was using prior, but the app worked untill the update. I updated the Minix because I had to restart the box, to get rid of stutter in all streaming services...

Problem with audio passthrough since recent update

Hello,

Really enjoying my U1. Audio passthrough for 7.1 worked great until I just updated to U1 MY47V.20170227. All stereo videos play well in XBMC 16.3 with good sound. 5.1 and 7.1 video plays well in XBMC 16.3 except sometimes sound is muted. It appears to happen always with .mkv files but some MP3 files will work intermittently. At times the MP3 files will play then make an awful screeching sound.

Anyone have the same experience? Anyone have any advice?
