sd card not working

hello,
recently I noticed that the sd card is not visible in "my computer". when I take it out and in again, there is the windows sound of the inserting but still it is not visible.
when I looked in hardware manager the sd card controller has the yellow triangle with ! in it, like the driver is bad. tried to update the driver from the drivers list here in the forum but wont let it and saying that the best driver is already installed.
any suggestions?

Adding a second NAS to U1 using Kodi

Greetings,
I know this is probably a silly question. I am technical but not well versed in Kodi. It just works...and I use it to access my home made videos on my NAS.

I have now added a second faster NAS. I just want to be able to browse to the new NAS and play additional videos. However I do not want it to "index" or whatever it because there are many duplicate files from the first NAS I have been using with the U1 since I bought it.

Like I said....I am sure it is simple but I want to...

Z83-4 Wi-Fi broken

Hi I have this device from December 2017. My wifi brought it by Amazon.
Yesterday I did not find the WiFi connection anymore. No Wi-Fi connection is available in the network folder. Only blutooth and lan connection are visible.
From the connection panel the Broadcom WiFi SDIO is ‘not available’ status.
I have tried to re install Wi-Fi drivers as reported in the dedicated topic as first attempt.
Reading the forum, I have re installed the win10 using the USB pen drive. Then I have installed...

What are the exact details of the USB-C port? Could it be USB-C gen2?

I want to buy a docking station with a VGA connector and several USB-3 connections. Any suggestions?

Hi all,

Like U1, Libreelec V8 is coming with Amlogic S912 support (y)
It's Kodi 17 based and promise smoothness for everything.

It's a early beta version yet with lot of bugs or missing things but will evolve quickly.

Win10 RS4 clean installation 250 GB SSD

my nice MINIX NEO N42C is fine running "win10 pro RS3" on 32 gb . I did a backup of the Drivers with the DoubleDriver program and saved this files.
Now I want to do a clean RS4 installation to a clean 250 gb ssd and stop the actuell 32 gb OS.

Is it a right way to disable the ECC version of the OS,- as discribed in thtread "Re-installing Win10 to SSD" by Higgs, Mar 22, 2018 #2-, and restart with a UEFI bootable USB RS4 Installation stick. Do the installation and reinstall the Drivers with...

The sad truth is that this Z83-4 is been a drammatic mess.
Sound issues.
SD card...don't make me talk about it. Pls. (for real)
Windows updates transformed in a real, sad, diabolical, horrific nightmare.

Hi, is there a general guide for setting up the display output settings on the U9-H? I purchased the device a few days ago and the image quality of the default configuration saturates a lot of the colours on my TV (4K, no HDR). Note that LibreELEC is not an option that would suit me because I use the U9 for things other than Kodi.

From what I can gather so far looking through this forum the following settings may be relevant/required:

Hello, I upgraded my X8-h Plus firmware with the official n200 userdebug 5.1.1 LMY47V firm ware and installed Kodi 17.6 and Exodus and Covenant fresh installs. Everything went smoothly but my number of sources for Movies seems low. I cleared the cache etc... and followed quite few guildes to get more sources to no avail. I do not have Debrid or other pay sources. When I search on a movie the number of sources seems low. For example,I only get 2-3 sources for popular movies like...

Hi guys,

I've searched for hours all over the net & I just can't seem to find a solution anywhere to this problem. I'm relatively new to Kodi & I've only been playing around with it for a couple of months. However, I have successfully loaded a few add-ons & set up everything else I need it to do at this point.

I'm using the Neo U9-H (with the latest firmware), & the pre-installed Minix Kodi Krypton. I'm on VDSL which is currently rated for a maximum of 56Mb, but realistically I'm getting...

Hi guys,

I really need a NAS. (As with everything these days), there's so many available it's an absolute bloody minefield for choosing a decent one that'll be fully compatible for my needs. Will add some further information if it helps.

I need one that will definitely keep up with streaming large 4K files over 1GB LAN, & importantly one that will definitely allow KODI direct access from the Neo U9-H over the LAN with the ABSOLUTE minimum of fuss!! (I am reasonably tech savvy but I'm...

Hi,

I need a soulution for that:

My 2 HDD is in IcyBox which is connected to the Minix with USB cable.
My problem is, if I forgot (means: my girlfriend) to power off the Minix the HDD's are spinning 24/7. (If I completly power off the U9 they're spin down and stop)

Is there any auto power off application/addon/etc. which i can configure to shut down the system when its's inactive (for exemple 30 minutes)?

NEO A2 Lite vs A3

I was wondering, the price difference is negligible, so what exactly is the difference except the voice function on the A3 between these two? I know that some people get annoyed by the A3 wake up function, I imagine that being annoying to me also, so if I do not need the A3 voice function, should I just get the A2 Lite instead or there are some other stuff improved in the A3 variation as its a newer device? I imagine battery being better to some extent on the A3, but that comes with the cost...
